Hotel needs updating but my room was extremely clean and I value cleanliness over looks anyday. It’s not terrible decor, just could use some freshening up. Staff was helpful, breakfast was good. I would definitely stay again.
I was tired driving across states and decided to stop for the night. The front desk clerk at night was very kind, helpful and helped me find a nice quiet room and gave me directions to various places I needed in the morning. My stay was quiet, my room clean and peaceful, and I was very impressed with this hotel and the evening front desk clerk. Especially after a long, tiring drive and fear of a noisy room, I can't tell you how nice it was that the front desk evening gentleman was so helpful and kind.
When we first arrived for a one night stay here for a family wedding, we were happy to get to check in early with 3 little ones. After that, very disappointed in the hotel. Several issues with our bathroom- sink would not drain, light switch did not work and the tub would not close correctly, hence not being able to give my 3 year old a tub bath!! However, the fire alarm going off at 12:45 am was the worst!! We called to the lobby to see what was going on or if it was just our room, and were told there was no fire but the fire dept was there to try to fix it. Then I was asked if we wanted to move???? What??? If it was the entire hotel, where am I going to move with 3 little ones at 1 in the morning??? Bizarre. Then, the alarm clock in the room went off at 6 am- apparently that did not get checked by the housekeepers ( you may want to add to your check list). The breakfast was okay- not a lot of choices and the potatoes were wayyyy too peppery. Then, when we checked out, there was no mention of the 1 am wake up nor an apology. Have asked for my points back- will see. Would not stay here again. The room was way too small anyway for 2 adults with children.
My husband and I have stopped here a few times over the last 6 years and have always been pleased with our experience. We look forward to staying here again since it is a convenient halfway location to Grandma's house.
We stayed here for a church convention that was in the area and was very pleased with our stay. My husband was super excited that they had turkey sausage, not many places serve that, especially at a complimentary breakfast. We do not eat pork it was awesome to have some low fat turkey. The rooms was very clean, updated and comfortable bed with a very nice comforter. No complaints here. We go to this area every year and will definitely stay here again.
Hotel was very nice, rooms were very clean, and breakfast was tasty. Very close to Kings island and easy to get on and off highway. It’s the first time we stayed at a Hampton, and if others are as pleasant we will be loyal visitors.
Check in was easy, room was comfortable. Very large drawers in the dresser, nice size armoire for hanging coats and clothes. Queen size beds were large, mattresses comfortable, plenty of pillows. Very quiet in there, sound proof almost. Easy to use t.v and alarm clock. Large mini fridge and microwave oven. Breakfast was pretty good and their dining area looks like a restaurant. The choices were plentiful: hot omelettes, french toast sticks, cold danishes and donuts, hot oatmeal, cold cereals, hard boiled eggs, sausages, and make your own waffles. Great coffee, Bigelow tea, orange juice, and juice cocktail. Now the bad- the coffee in the hotel room was disgusting, don't drink it. Take the water they offer you because the tap water wasn't very good. My husband also had to clean someone else's shaving cream mess off the counter in the bathroom. He didn't say anything because he didn't want to ruin my stay. I wasn't wowed by the staff, they weren't unfriendly but we seemed to be almost an inconvenience. I didn't feel welcome. The carpet was a bit worn, the bed spread was white which I liked, but it has begun to pill and had threads that were pulled and looks very used. It felt like an average stay at a higher price. If you are looking for a special stay at all, this wasn't the place in my opinion. I had been excited to stay in a Hampton Inn, and for the $120 price tag I was hoping it would feel more luxurious.
Stayed here when visiting King's Island Winterfest. Perfectly close, but away from busyness and noise. Room was very clean, linens bright white, and staff friendly. Pool area was small but tidy with towels provided. Breakfast was a great bonus. Complimentary wifi was sufficient for our needs. Will definitely stay again!
The place was very Clean and the room ac blew very cold. The pool was the perfect temperature area was very clean and neat. The breakfast was very good love hot waffles. The staff was very nice and answered all of my questions i had.
Stayed at this Hampton Inn while we visited my daughter performing for WInterfest at Kings Island. Very clean & nice hotel. Staff was friendly and rate was great. I would recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Kings Island.
