The Wicker Park Inn has been remodeled. It is now not as cozy, clean or courteous as at my last visit 3 yrs ago. I will be looking elsewhere . The $220. room was just a bed and a bath, not the efficiency suite I remember from our previous stay. The shower seemed clean (we left w/o using it), but the mirror-covered night stands were dirty. Stains and dirt had not even been wiped off. We didn't stay long enough to find how else things had gone bad, due to an impending snowstorm . 🎇

We chose the Wicker Park Inn because of the close proximity to our grandson's apartment and his work as that was the reason for our visit. I read all the reviews and decided on the Inn over another hotel recommended to us. We loved everything about the Inn. Our room, the comfort of the bed, the kitchen space, the very friendly people who work there, and the owner, Laura. It was so close to good restaurants, transportation, and shopping. The vibe of Wicker Park is amazing. Highly recommend this Inn!

Conveniently located to public transit and restaurants and a beautifully remodeled property. The bed was very comfortable and the rain shower-head felt wonderful. Though it only was a one night stay, I felt like I was coming home after work versus a hotel. I was provided with a complimentary street parking permit for my rental car. You really don't need a car in Chicago- I had one due to work equipment, etc, especially with the El located so close by. Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. I'd recommend you try the property- it does not disappoint.

I had a very nice room and everything was clean and accommodating. Bed was super comfortable and the space (kitchen and rooms) was nicely done. I wasn't kept up by the passing trains but you can hear them since the tracks are behind the property - something to think about if that kind of thing would bother you. The location is very good in Wicker Park. The only thing that I was less than thrilled with was the breakfast. I guess other BnBs I've been to had a more impressive breakfast. It was OK but just underwhelming.

Tucked into the midst of the Wicker Park neighborhood is this high quality BnB. Classic brick 2-story Chicago flat. Fully updated with well designed/styled furnishings. Nice breakfast setting with delicious healthy food freshly prepared. The building does back up to the train tracks. We requested a room facing the street (quiet) and were not bothered by train noise. Within comfortable walking distance to shops, cafes etc. Fair value.

Our three bedroom apartment was clean, cosy and convenient!. Lots of places top eat, shop and play. Chicago High Line a mere 10 minute walk. The unit had a kitchen, washer & dryer, television and a large dining/living room. Staying at the Wicker Park Inn is like being a traveler and not a tourist....we loved it!

Immaculate small hotel with a lovely breakfast room looking onto the Chicago elevated railway track with trains whizzing by. Staff were cordial and helpful, storing our bags until our room was ready later in the day. SPEEDY WIFI!!! The breakfast is delicious in the charming breakfast room. A kitchen is available for you use. There are bottles of cold water to take to your room. A lovely inn in a lovely setting near gazillion trendy spots!

Stay in the coolest neighborhood, with easy access to all the others (including downtown & O'Hare) via the blue line. Excellent amenities, friendly & helpful staff, very comfortable rooms. I had to leave too early each day to catch breakfast, but the overnight oats & yogurt/fruit left in the fridge for guests like me were delicious. Thank you!

I liked the room a lot, it was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The building and the common room were also very nice. The location was great for me because I was visiting someone just blocks away in Wicker Park. I was surprised by how noisy and disturbing the Blue Line Train was even though my room was on the side of the inn farthest from the line.

Wonderful staff, very nice clean place and very convenient to Wicker Park area - walking distance to great restaurants! Breakfast was creative and delicious. The only item I would suggest to owners is a bit of sound proofing at the doors. Blue line sound did not bother me - just heard a fair amount of noise from people. Superb staff -couldn't have asked for better friendly people. Until next time!
