The location is amazing. Less than a 1-minute walk to the cute beach area on the lake. We packed up a snack box and headed down for a picnic. The apartment looks lovely, just like the photos. The common areas of the building could use some updates, but the apartment is clean and comfy. Bed was SUPER comfy. Smart TV easy to use. Kitchen is pretty well appointed with what guests need. There is a little area with shops and restaurants about a 5-minute walk up Jarvis. I highly recommend R Public House. We also walked to the grocery store, maybe about a 15-minute walk. Some unfortunate things, the microwave was broken, the bathroom door will not fully shut so no privacy there, and we thought the posting read as though you'll have dedicated parking but you don't. There is street parking and a convenient parking garage that is affordable (12/day). The check-in instructions I received only gave a code, and so it took us reaching out to the host to get full instructions. The host was kind and answered quickly so it was resolved adequately. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay in the area again. I also want to note that we did not ask the host to resolve the microwave & bathroom door issues during our stay, but did make them aware upon checkout.
