Nice funky atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff

Friendliest staff I've ever encountered at a hotel. Everyone greeted us with smile, laughs, and were extremely helpful, offering advice on where to eat, what to do, and how to get around. This is absolutely my new go-to Chicago hotel.

Overall a very great experience. The location was great the staff was great.

I love the decor, feel, and features of the rooms. I love the knock and drop coffee delivered to the room in the morning.

It was fun nice clean had a mini bae the staff is friendly the design is pretty the tv is what i like the most it has cable Netflix YouTube

We stayed for just one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel was really neat and clean, the staff was so friendly and the location was close to so much. You can't beat the price for the hotel. Free coffee shot coffee delivered in the morning at whatever time you choose, and the "Alexa" in the room was a great asset. We will be back!!

This was our 4th time staying here, and we love it! It’s funky, no city skyline views or frills, but friendly service, clean rooms, and coffee delivered to your door in a stainless thermos at your selected time in the morning just simply rocks. A short refreshing walk from the Chicago theater and all downtown attractions, and right next to Nordstrom’s for under 100 bucks in Chicago...no brainer!

This hotel is awesome! From arrival to departure no questions went unanswered by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The room wasn’t amazing and they have Alexa in the room which is a big help. I will definitely stay there again. The hotel front is under construction but it didn’t interfere with anything. parking is literally right beside the hotel. Great place to stay!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! (The BF and I found this to be a very centralized location for all the major sites in Chicago!) This is a very artsy, cutsey, boutique-y, chic, techy (except for our non-blue tooth speaker in our room) hotel. The team is very friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful. I like the free coffee in the am. I also loved that the team member who checked me in acknowledged that I was an Orbitz VIP member, and since I did not take advantage of the free (normally $39 a night I THINK???) parking garage fee, she offered us a city view on the 15th floor instead. She let us know that it would be a queen bed instead of the reserved king size before I had agreed to the room. Well done folks, customer-service-wise! The rooms are a bit small, but I'm imagining that this is the norm in most of the boutique hotels in DT Chitown.

We chose the Acme based on pictures and location and we were very pleased with it! The room was fun and funky—loved the outdoor aerial sculpture! We wished we had more time to hang out in the lounge and the bar. Will definitely book again.

Excellent!!! Loved the location and how clean and spacious our room was... Definitely will go back!

Love the location of the hotel to all parts of the city. Everything is in easy walking distance, especially some great restaurants within a block of the hotel. The hotel is very nice and clean with a helpful staff to assist you. Close to the CTA and only $5 to the Ohare to fly out.

Not your typical hotel. Very interestingly contemporary. Our room was small, but we only slept there. No closet...hooks on the wall. Contemporary wall accents and bath fixtures. My only disappointments were no DVD player or premium movie channels....although it did have a really nice wall-mounted flat screen tv....and no refrigerator. Ice was on the 1st and 5th floors.

Our stay was just for one night but very enjoyable. The décor was very modern but tasteful. We loved the amenities, like the coffee delivered to our room in the morning for free. The attached bakery was also very handy. Everyone who worked there was very kind.

The hotel is a super hip place, with delicious snacks at the cafe seemingly open always. And the berkshire room which is inside is a place you can get an amazing egg white drink, or beer. Walkable distance to tons of great food, and also tourist destinations nearby.

Hotel is in center of everything. Nothing is more than a short Uber ride or walk away the whole staff was great and down to earth room was funky with all the things you need - TV, chargers and Alexa Coffee service to your room - HDMI ports to connect to TV

The rooms are the smallest I've ever seen, felt like a closet with a window that overlooks s very ugly interior of the building Parking was $39/night and had to walk around the block to get to it Night Staff were fairly uninterested in being nice or friendly Honestly a very unusual and not comfortable experience

From being welcomed by staff at the door to our check out the next day, this staff went above and beyond. At check in they ask if you'd like tea or coffee brought to your door in the morning! They offer to bring up your breakfast from the cute coffee shop next door. Our room was neat, clean and with wonderful soaps and shampoos. Everything was at our disposal. The front desk folks gave us dinner recommendations and got us a cab in minutes. Our stay was a delight! Don't pass up the coffee shop connected to the hotel! They have amazing breakfast sandwiches, bakery items, yogurts, fruits and fabulous coffee. We loved the peace sign door handles, the record album covers in the elevators and John Lennon singing to us on our way up to the room. The room was very quiet and had a refrigerator, microwave and vending machine with beers, sodas and water for purchase! Everything you need and a great location!

Great rooms and great staff in a great hood. We were in town for a concert and this hotel set the vibe totally. Our room had an electric guitar!...nuff said. Check this place out, it won't disappoint.

Before you book this hotel go to their website and check out all their offers. We booked this hotel on short notice and couldn't believe our dumb luck. The location is excellent. The staff was excellent. They were eager to give suggestions of places to eat and the reference to The Yolk for breakfast was most appreciated. My brother was staying at a major chain hotel on Michigan avenue and the difference in ambiance and vibe was palpable. He and his wife spent the majority of their downtime with us at the Acme. The Bodega is like having drinks in a best friend's living room. The bar downstairs served up one of the most delicious whiskey drinks I have ever tasted. The bakery was perfect for a quick breakfast before hitting the town. Street noise is minimal. Only complaint was that the noise in the hallways was a little loud but that was our fault for staying out too late downstairs and sleeping in late. Cannot rate this place high enough. A pleasant surprise that will now be our go-to Chicago hotel. Well done Acme!
