we came from the USA to celebrate my neices wedding, and all of the family stayed overnight at the hotel,so we all got together in the morning and had breakfast, which was really great, the rooms were awesome and the staff were very nice and helpful, we really had a great time and would recommend ...
We were in Chester for two days and wanted to be able to walk everywhere and this hotel was perfect. We were upgraded to a suite and the staff could not have been nicer. The room was clean and very comfortable.
Hotel front desk whilst pleasent (most of the time) seem to be I’ll trained or have a lack of understanding of the property, room was a great size and clean. However.... huge construction project on the property. We were supposed to have a view but this was blocked by construction fencing, equipment ...
It is a very good hotel. Good value for money and well located in Chester. Good staff. Good breakfast. Good facilities. I would recommend it and stay there again. I'd give it a good 7 1/2 out of 10!
Good overall hotel for a business visit. Convenient to dining, river, and walls.
That said, I found the breakfast service, from host to waitpersons to be indifferent and lacking in vigour and a willingness to serve. Otherwise, I will be back, but not for breakfast. Otherwise, great service on all other fronts! Thanks, Herb Howell
