Like staying there as convenient for town and family. The only trouble was going in Two lifts and over a bridge hauling a suitcase and other bags - I think staff should look at a persons age before putting them across the water. Was not worth asking to move as it was very busy. The second was the noise at 3am in the morning with a couple arguing really noisy but was sorted quiet quickly after a telephone call. Also we found the teapots in the Dining room looked as they could do with a good clean -on the outside - otherwise the food in the bar was terrific and staff very helpful - will stay again -as not over the bridge

Hotel is well located between bus / train terminus and Chester city centre. It struggles with large influx of people at Sunday breakfast with queuing out the door at peak times. The 1 lift in the main hotel is also a. bottleneck at check in/ departure times. The TV in the bedroom was “elderly” and they deserve a revamp. Notwithstanding these observations we felt it was good value, the staff were welcoming and attentive. The gym facilities looked excellent.

The staff were very friendly We had 2 rooms booked & paid extra for a premium king room for one of them but the bed was no different than the standard room. In fact the standard double seemed better than the premium king. Place was a bit of a maze to get around. Was great otherwise, very unique. Great staff & breakfast.

Great walking distance from the train station ( 10mins) and for walking into Chester city centre. No air conditioning in the room and it was quite quite hot but there was a fan provided. Disappointing experience in the spa but otherwise great. Would stay again.

Lovely hotel

Great hotel in a very good location. Very good included breakfast. Staff were wonderful. Great bar for drinks. The only issue was the comfort of the bed in our particular room. The bed was quite creaky and the mattress too hard for us, might be ok for others as people like different mattress types but not for us. Spa lovely and a great added extra at the hotel. Would definitely stay again but upgrade to a superior room and check the bed on arrival

Good value, very clean, excellent facilities, a bit dated in areas but it’s fair to say that’s reflected in the price. The breakfast staff were great, absolute grafters! The leisure facilities were spot on although you are sharing with non guests so it was quite congested.
