Easy access from the interstate, quiet, excellent breakfast.

Quite. Great breakfast buffet. Clean rooms. Close to interstate. Kinda hidden if you arrive at night.

Very comfortable and the breakfast is very good!!!

Love this. Best breakfast, do clean, non smoking is really non smoking, front desk great, really happy with it..

This is one of the cleanest and well maintained facilities I have stayed in. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is a great location for touring Monticello. The breakfast is great. Unfortunately, there is no elevator to the second floor. We thought this was very strange. The room only had one good bed.

Floors were not vacuumed well, toilet not very clean to my standard, no elevator to second floor. Was comfortable enough but I like extremely well cleaned rooms as most people do. Breakfast didn't start until 7 so I was not able to have the complimentary breakfast, I had to leave 6:40 both mornings for meetings. Great price if you can let a little cleanliness go.

Nice setting just off interstate. Close to downtown far enough away. Centrally located to all attractions. Had an enjoyable stay. Staff sent a thank you note to our follow on hotel, very nice!!

Clean room. Courteous staff. Decent continental breakfast.

The staff were friendly. The pool was never clear enough for us to go into the water. Always an excuse of why it was cloudy. The bed mattress was old, my husband and I had to hold onto the sides so we didn't roll into each other during the night. The motel did not allow pets and that was what they were proud of!!! We did not have pets with us! It is a motel that definitely needs to be refurnished. We were traveling with our family.

The staff was very friendly, and helpful. Plan o staying again.

Very clean, staff was very helpful. Hotel was close to our destination.

My Experiece Was great. The StAff Was Friendly. The Rooms were Very Clean, And The Beds Were Comfortable. Would Recomend To Friends And family.

Stayed two nights at this location for a high school reunion. Hotel was older, but seemed as if it had been recently renovated. Room and bath were clean and comfortable. Hotel was rated as a 2 star, but better than normal 2 star hotels. Hotel cost was higher than normal 2 star hotel listings, but probably less expensive than other Charlottesville hotels.

Although there is nothing around the hotel, access to the freeways makes it a convenient location. We were there for the UVA graduation and paid a pretty penny for a king room ($200/night), but it was less than most and a very comfortable place to stay. The room was nicely decorated and the bed very comfy (lots of nice pillows). The towel supply was a little scant and not very plush, but adequate. Breakfast buffet was ample with a wide selection. There was a fair amount of noise from upstairs, including the sound of showers/flushing but it wasn't awful. I booked at the last minute (literally, the day of arrival) and the desk manager arranged for us to have a king bed for our entire 3-night stay, even though there wasn't a king room to reserve when I booked. Close to Monticello and Michie Tavern - both worth the time to experience. Also the Walton museum isn't far, but we didn't get there.

The room smelled dank and musty from the moment we stepped in until the moment we left. The heating/cooling system was musty as though the filters needed replacing, and it was either too hot or too cold. There was no middle, comfortable ground. Though the room was clean, the furnishings were dated and outlets were overloaded. There was no way to charge a phone without unplugging a light or some other appliance. The hallway walls were scuffed, and the carpets were torn in a couple places--and this was the most expensive room we stayed in other than in Washington, DC.

Not a great location. More like a motel than hotel. Dark hallways, funny smell. Bathroom was renovated and better than expected. Bed was comfortable. A/C froze the room with a cold wind tunnel - had difficulty adjusting the air flow.

We chose this hotel because of its location, but if we had it to do over, we would drive the extra distance to stay somewhere else! The hallways were dirty and smelled horrible. The first room we were given had no AC, the next had AC that was so loud it woke us up everytime it kicked on. Our son's room had dirty sheets when he got in it. If this had been a $49 a night room, we would have expected what we got, but for what we paid it was horrible!!

It was just a short stay but very convenient for our purpose.

This hotel was the lowest price available for a Saturday night visit in Cville. We were late in booking and booked only a few days in advance. The price was about $140 and this hotel definitely was not worth that cost. It is farther away from downtown but does have ample parking and free continental breakfast. The stairwell leading up to the 2nd floor was dirty and needed to be cleaned. The room itself was not bad but our 2nd floor room looks directly onto the roof and A/C equipment. The bathroom was updated and fairly clean. All in all not a bad place, and perhaps if it had been $80 a night I would have said that it would have been worth its price.
