I had the room with the only hot tub. Which was amazing. My only issue in the room was not enough alot for appliances. You had to pic and choose what appliance you wanted to your for the nearest outlet
Let me begin with I attempted to cancel prior to checking in , gentleman at the lobby said I had to check in. Reason I no longer wanted to stay at this location any longer is because a man outside of the property mentioned a murder happened overnight wanted nothing to do with the stay after, sheets were dirty I didn’t even stay a night and it wasn’t until the next day I was able to check out. I would like my refund since I didn’t stay a night and even up until now I have not been able to get a hold of a manager!!!!! This is absurd!
Seedy clientele and cockroaches in the room. Not well maintained facilities and sub-par cleanliness.
Nothing to like! The place was filthy and run down. Missing bedding on beds, lamps broken, filthy throughout facility with full garbage bags sitting throughout. Nighttime person at front desk was sloppy and rude and daytime person who was suppose to be manning front desk, actually spent her time in dinning area eating and watching TV when I tried to rustle up food for breakfast. She was still sitting there two hours later when I went to check out and she told me to just hand her the key and didn't even bother to get up. It must have been a riveting Married to Medicine episode that morning.
Hotel is close to CLT airport, that was the main factor in staying here. Days Inns are typically fair price point for a basic stay, this was also a factor in booking here. Well, the staff could care less about you staying at this location. There was food thrown on floor in the stairwell. Room was fine but bathroom was in poor condition with upkeep of utilities. Beds were fine for one night but have seen better days. There is a pool (didn’t use). The lobby goes on lockdown at 9pm although several “employees” were using it. Not sure what that was all about. If you are planning on a quick stay, this hotel would be ok. No frills sort of situation. But if you’re looking for a relaxing stay, I’d pass.
The property is really unclean, there is mould on door panels, dirty and old furniture in the rooms and water was shut off for over 3 hours after check in.
This picture in the website must be 30 years old- this is not what the property looks like. It’s run down, and a local hangout for druggies and prostitutes. There were needles in the parking lot, people screaming and fighting outside. WE DID NOT FEEL SAFE. As we already paid for the room we decided to check in and see if we felt better than the horrific outside, we had random restaurant employees walking thru the hallways staring at us- got to the room lock didn’t work, and saw a cockroach run across the floor. We turned around and gave our keys back. No way would we stay here. The room had a chair with shreds of fabric hanging off of it, garbage was full with bloody napkins, we didn’t ever sit on the bed.., for fear of what’s there. The woman working at the desk was getting screamed at by a few men who wanted their money back- I didn’t even ask, I just gave her my key, didn’t care about the money fit the three days I had already paid, and said I’m finding another hotel... she looked at me and “ I get it, I’m sorry.” Shane on orbits for not checking into hotels more often, because all these pictures on here are over 20 years old- this place is in shambles
Manager was always on a speakerphone conversation, maids took dirty baby bottles that were left by the sink and packed them into an empty diaper clutch in our luggage. Saw people in the pool with jeans or sweatpants on. Not in the nicest area of town.
The house keeper entered my room with the do not disturb sign on and then locked my room so I couldn’t get back in and then I had to go back to the office and the gentleman working on Saturday morning was rude didn’t apologize or say a word..really? And for the rooms to be smoke free I smelt weed all weekend long this place was shady and was not enjoyable It’s definitely should not say non smoking facility
Very clean and friendly staff. Great breakfast. Easy access to the highway
I arrived from my flight at 1:45am and was forced to stand outside for my check in. After about 10 mins of standing outside in the cold checking in I was told my room is in the back of the building where I had to walk around because the lobby is closed from 9pm to 6am. Rooms were not the cleansest and smell of strong smoke in the hallway and rooms. Very disappointed and may actually book a room across the street because I don’t feel comfortable here.
The worse experience I’ve ever had at Days Inn. I don’t think I will ever book Days Inn for my stay. Customer service was awful. The refrigerator in the room wasn’t working. I told them to fix it, twice, no response. I asked them to save my food in their fridge, they did, and when I went to pick it up, they said they accidentally threw it away. I could smell cigarettes all over the lobby and hallway. I could hardly breathe. Overall very disappointing and I’d appreciate if you could refund my money.
-cockroaches in the room -sheets were never changed -beds were made twice -drug solicitation at the pool and sitting on our balcony -hallways smelled like weed constantly -open doors all day drug users walking in and out of hotel -pictures were extremely deceiving -room furniture such as sitting chair and office chair ripped and soiled -pool was missing tiles in poor condition -tv extremely undersized
Unfortunately, this hotel was the only one that was available after my flight in Charlotte was canceled. It was filthy, the bed was hard and it had roaches. I was actually glad that the airline lost my luggage because I could be sure that I wouldn't bring any bugs that were in the hotel back to my home.
The room above us was selling crack to the locals behind the gas station. They looked like lightning bugs, smoking crack all night, roaches in hallway, cigarette burns on everything in room, typical crack hotel motel scum.the employee that was working breakfast was the best thing she was a very nice person..
