Super comfortable room with all the amenities you would need. My wife and I had more espresso in our room than in the past year! TV in the bathroom mirror was watched than in the living room! Comfortable bed, pillows, comforter. The only nit picky item I could complain about the room would be one of the bulbs in the bathroom kept flickering... we did have some hiccups at the spa who kept messing up our scheduled appointments, but to compensate, didn't charge for my wife's manicure or my shortened 25 minute massage session so I cannot complain much. Roberto was great there. Well worth the stay. Wish we could have spent more time in the wine tasting area but ran out of time with all the things we did.
This is my favorite spa! The hotel and spa are top notch service!!! Roberto gives a wonderful massage! If anything at all isn't what you expect the hotel goes over and beyond to make it perfect for you!
For the money spent, expected much better experience. Cupcakes and drinks lacked any flavor. Toilet area had snot on the walls. Room menu looked old. Not the best bang for my luxury hotel dollars. The service and staff were nice and location is great. I totally disagree with having to pay for Internet as well.
On the way to Asheville, North Carolina, I got stuck in Charlotte because of an incoming snowstorm. I reluctantly booked a room at the Ritz worrying about the snow, and the price. I arrived at The Ritz without my bags and a little disappointed in myself. As I complained to the front desk staff – I was handed a glass of champagne. As I told them I did not have a toothbrush they handed me a dental kit. When I went on to say I didn't have my suitcase – they smiled and told me if there was anything they could do please let them know. What I didn't know, is that while they listened to me complain, they quietly upgraded my room to a small suite. I was so appreciative when I made it to my room. Not to mention surprised! That exemplifies my stay at the Ritz in Charlotte. They listen to you, look at the big picture – and quietly calculate what they can do to make your life a little better. I found this again and again throughout my stay which ended up being four days! I was shown kindness at every turn. From the restaurant, spa, to even the kind people that I met in hallway doing their job. When I commented to a manager, he told me that that's what they do at the Ritz. That is their management style. I am a new and faithful customer. This is a shout out to all the kind of people that helped me have a really wonderful stay – even though I didn't even want to be there. Thank you for making my time more enjoyable and fun. It was lovely TLC and I really appreciate it!!
We received excellence service all the way around. I was celebrating my birthday & to my surprise I received a handwritten birthday card from the staff and a beautiful cake 🎂. Thank you for making every moment special.
We spent two nights here in Feb. Staff was great and if you are really feeling decadent have the "dessert only" five course dinner! Staff was as always great and the location is perfect. Go for a long weekend and enjoy the heart of the city.
Any time we visit or stay at the Ritz we are treated like royalty. The staff is very attentive and moves quickly. The restarutant and bars are great (expensive though). The rooms and spa are world class. Definitely worth the money.
Very luxurious. Has a pool on the 18th floor looking at the skyline of Charlotte. Staff are very attentive. For me it was a once in lifetime experience. Thanks to the company I work for because they paid for all associates celebrating they years of employment.
Carpet was old and stained, no refill on all toiletries, shower was broken, adjoining rooms not insulated from noise, failed to address our safety/security problem to our satisfaction. They did give us a refund for one night which was vey gracious. We just felt like cattle among royalty here. Maybe it was just a bad series of events this time but for the money, we expected better. Leblanc never failed us, not once. Maybe that's the difference between 5 star gold and 5 star diamond.
5 stars, incredible hotel, great location! This is right next to the epicenter with an amazing view of the city! Televisions in the mirrors, top of the line service! Our suite was HUGE, like SO much room !
