Room was not as nice as most Holiday Inn Express rooms.
easy access, convenient, loved the bedding, great breakfast
Charleston hotels were very full when I started looking for accommodations, so I was fortunate to find rooms available in this Holiday Inn Express in the North Area. It was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the room very comfortable.
Everything was great! It was clean and nice and I didn't have any problems. The staff members who worked there were very friendly. Breakfast was always hot and tasted good!
This hotel is located in a nice area and there are many conveniences nearby. For anyone that doesn't want to stay in the downtown area of Charleston but within a decent driving distance, I'd recommend this hotel. Plenty of room for five.
I mistakenly thought I would be able to find a hotel on the outskirts of Charlestown without an advance reservation. I felt fortunate to find this hotel near 11:30 pm. The cost was over $180 for the night in a place where half that price should have been expected. One more note: check-in desk was staffed by a woman handling those responsibilities by herself for the first time, and she wasn't ready for that. She was very pleasant and she tried hard, but needed FAR more training.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Good variety at breakfast.
great place to stay. Love being just outside all the action
I booked this hotel because it was a straight shot to the Naval Weapons Station my brother was graduating from and it wasn't labeled a "roach motel" by the locals. It wasn't the easiest place to find (with us being from California and the construction obstructing our view from the road), but it was in a pretty safe area and we had no trouble navigating from the hotel. The staff made me feel welcome and seemed quite hospitable. The rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I have no complaints, great place to stay!
I have nothing but good things to say about this Holiday Inn Express. The gentleman who checked me in was very friendly, very helpful and efficient. The room was great and the hotel location was excellent, surrounded by easy access to many restaurants. I was in town to see the PGA Championship and my 5 a.m. wakeup call came right on the button. Thumbs up in all ways for a great stay!
We used this location to visit a family member that has a medical condition. However, be advised since this is near the university you will have athletes EVERYWHERE!! However. the staff is very friendly and helpful! Also, we booked a 2 Queen bed room and received a handicapped room with no notification. I really wish they told us this upfront. Normally this is not an issue, however there was no ventilation fan in bathroom (or it was broken), and the handicapped shower rail (where you can adjust height) was dilapidated. This was our second visit, and this time we were on 2nd floor verse the 1st last time. This was our second visit in 6 months. We could hear the tenants either exercising vigorously or possibly ballroom dancing...either way it was not funny when you are trying to rest. We both made the decision not to stay here on our next visit.
Convenient location, very clean, comfortable beds, great breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely stay there again.
Very nice and clean. Staff is very friendly and seem concerned about your comfort.
GOOD LOCATION GREAT STAFF VERY CLEAN AND MODERN ONLY PROBLEM I FOUND WAS NOT ENOUGH SOUND PROFFING BETWEEN FLOORS
Very convenient and clean hotel with nice amenities. Good value for the money.
The hotel is nice and clean. Flat screen in room, comfortable bed. The breakfast was worth getting up for. My only problem I had was the toilet. I had to keep fixing it. Other than that I would recommend this hotel!
I went to this hotel to visit the city of Charleston. It is about 20 minutes outside of Charleston, but it is worth the stay. I stayed in downtown Charleston the last time I was there and this trip was way better.
Very Nice Hotel. Room was very clean and had no problems. Would recommend the hotel.
I was in town just for the day and saw the reviews for this hotel, after staying at different hotels in the area, I decided to switch it up and go with this one instead, because it was so close to the highway. I was extremely delighted with my stay it was wonderful and the staff was great.
The hotel itself was great. My room was spotless and the staff was very helpful. The location was kind of far away from where I needed to be (the Citadel-about twenty minutes). That was the only reason I didn't give this hotel five stars.
