Hilton Garden Inn Charleston Airport

A very poor representation of a Hilton property. Housekeeping entered room twice without notice, nor were stained sheets changed.

One of the front desk personal. I think her name Nylese? was very helpful , & pleasant. A second female person was not as helpful. The lobby was smallish but nicely designed. The Food & food servers were lacking. The Beds were comfortable & the rooms well kept. Television options could have been better ... given the lack of entertainment in the area.

Room was good, service was good. 13.99 per person was a bit too costly for breakfast buffet.

Nice place, new, modern, well equiped, freindly receptionist, indoor swimming pool

We were in town for a baseball tournament. This was a decent priced hotel for a last minute reservation, and for the city it was in. The accommodations were fair. We didn't realize that there was a charge for breakfast, and it wasn't cheap!! Aside from that, the rooms were clean and the staff was nice and accommodating. We would stay here agiain if we are in a pinch.

We have used this hotel now a couple of times, its location to the airport, its shuttle service and proximity to downtown makes it a perfect hotel for us. I would recommend this to anyone looking to travel to the Charleston area.

Good location for both town and airport; I would stay again.

Came into town to see show at the coliseum. Hotel was conveniently near arena and has a nice boardwalk that eliminated hassle of parking and crowds

The staff are super friendly, the room is perfect, i couldn't have asked for a better hotel experience. Love it!

Impressive lobby, convenient location to come stay the night before our early flight home after a week on the coast. Shuttle prompt. Affordable prices--stayed in king suite with 2adults/2 kids comfortably under $150. What keeps it just average, though, rather than 4 or 5 stars: bedside lamp didn't work. TV was unplugged behind heavy cabinet. Rust spots on bathroom door frame. Mold/mildew spots on shower grout. Non-functioning ice machine on our floor.

The hotel itself was fine for our one night stay to arrive at the airport early the next morning. My one star is a direct reflection of the careless service from the front desk staff. I asked the front desk staff to tell me where the airport rental car return direction and road was. They printed off a map from the internet and handed it to me. The next morning I followed the map only to find I was going to a in town rental car return place and 30 minuets opposite direction of the airport. Now, for a airport hotel that is less than 5 minuets from the airport and airport rental car return, I cannot believe that the front desk staff could not simply tell me what direction to drive! We nearly missed our flight and started out the day very terrible. No thank you! What terrible lack of care and service they did to us.

We stayed at this hotel due to its location right next to the North Charleston Colisuem. This hotel had a connected lighted walkway which was nice. We didn't have to fight the traffic getting in and out of the concert we had tickets to. The hotel staff was courteous. The room was my biggest complaint. The ac was not working properly. You might not think this is a big issue in November but the hotel room stayed a toasty 81 degrees despite the ac running non-stop. The 'sleep number' beds they touted were just plain uncomfortable. I couldn't tell a difference between the softest and hardest settings. The fitted sheet would not stay on the bed. Not a terrible problem except there was this extremely wiry wool pad underneath which was awfully scratchy on my sensitive skin. There were also several events going on at the hotel and there was frequent slamming doors and loud noises but nothing outrageous and not necessarily the hotels fault. Overall the hotel was o.k. However, I feel that I could have paid a little less to accomplish the same experience.

We enjoyed staying here. It is in a great location with good places to eat and shop very close, and easy to get to other places in Charleston. Very clean, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Some noise from nearby airport, but not really annoying. Pool is indoor and somewhat small, but adequate. Dining at hotel is a bit expensive. Would stay again

Multiple staff members very polite and helpful. Good location. Approx 1 mile to airport, 1 mile to outlets, less than 10 miles to West of the Ashley River, East of Cooper River, downtown, or even Summerville. Something to do in any direction. Lots of eating choices.

Party of three stayed there for one night over memorial day. the hotel was very full and had parties and family reunions going on. We had a room that was next to the elevator and the ice machine and could not believe how quiet the room was. The room was also neat and comfortable. I would recommend staying at the hotel if you are interested in going downtown since the hotel location is very convenient to get to and get out of.

Nice place, great coffe and cookies every evening on the way to the room.

stayed overnight close to airport with shuttle for a 6 AM flight

I had a work seminar and staying at the hotel where the seminar was held was very convenient. Shopping and food all under 10 miles away!

The hotel was totally adequate. However, when asked if the stay could be extended one night, we were told we had to contact [...], which we did. Only to be on the line for over 20 minutes to someone in India undoubtedly. One was [...], who tried, [...] tried - neither were able to get one more night confirmed and put me on hold for yet another person after which I simply hung up....being on the line for over 20 minutes was excessive in my opinion. Therefore, I got on line and booked a room immediately at the Holiday Inn across the street.

The hotel was very nice and the staff were exceptional. The most disappointing part was that if you did not have a car, you were stuck there. Cab ride to downtown Charleston was $40 and really nothing to do there. I would stay again but would make sure I rented a car too.
