Driftwood Shores is a must stay! The view is the best. The best part was sitting on the patio at night listening to the ocean waves and frogs, so peaceful. The 3 bedroom suite was great, clean, quiet and spacious.

The view was awesome and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We booked and asked for ground floor with a king bed. We have stayed here before, opened door didn’t notice bed assumed it was what I booked and paid for. Our room was at the entrance to the elevator in a small hallway. Started to head for bed noticed it was a Queen and the noise from the elevator was so loud and we had a gap under our door of a 1-1/2 inches the breeze was swift we had to go get a pool towel to block the draft from coming into our room. I kept shutting the door to that is the entrance to our room from this hallway shielding the noise and breeze. A security guard kept opening it up we went back and forth a dozen times had a very hard time trying to sleep. We didn’t want to be those customers that constantly complain but when we checked out the gal asked how our stay was I told her all our issues her reply was "hopefully those will be taken care of when we remodel" well I guess we will wait till the remodel to bad love the location.

All was well, except the bed was lumpy. The bed seemed to be a pallet vs a mattress.

Great hotel. Perfect for kids! Close to the beach. The beds in our room were soft but my brother had really hard beds. I also hated the pillows... Hard and flat. Amazing pool and the rooms are set up really nice and I would definitely go back.... I will just being my own pillow next time.

I've stayed here before. Its an old hotel with a facelift. Its got a fantastic view!

Rooms were double booked. Recived a standard room instead of delux. Enjoyed the king size bed. People above us let there kids run back and forth in their room at 6am for at least an hour

We have stayed there before so we knew what to expect. The hotel is very nice right on the Ocean with a great view of the Ocean. The rooms are very nice and comfortable.

Beautiful spot on the coast. Dated hotel with squeaky floors in our room. Friendly staff and fair price.

Showed up at check-in time and had to wait 2.5 hours to get checked into our room. Lounge was closed, so we sat in the car and waited. Hotel was nearly empty...But staff put a family with small kids above and next to our room... We listened to the stomping and noise for 2 days. We had requested a quite end room away from the noise... It has happened before, Unbelievable!

We checked in just in time to catch the sunset from our balcony. It was surrealistically beautiful! The room was small but very comfortable. I don't usually sleep as well on a bed not my own, but this one was comfortable. The staff were friendly and quite helpful.

I've always heard great reviews from friends and been wanting to stay at the driftwood for awhile now. Now that I have I will be sure to go many more times in the future. The staff was very nice and friendly, the ocean views were the best. Peaceful lovely place to stay.

Staying at Driftwood Shores felt like being home. It was located right outside of Florence, Oregon within good driving distance of the Siuslaw National Forest and the Oregon Coast. We stayed in a King room with a kitchen for 4 nights. The hotel is very clean and extremely comfortable. The ocean view from our private balcony was spectacular. Heceta Beach was in our backyard and not crowded at all. The resort has its own private access to the beach and even a place to rinse the sand off your feet. We spent our days beach combing and wading in the ocean. The weather in August was perfect- just wish we had brought a kite! There were lots of restaurants in town (even one attached to the resort) but we shopped at one of the grocery stores and made dinner in our room several nights. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots & pans, etc. The staff was excellent. I was able to upgrade my last night from a Queen to a King room with no problem. Housekeeping was quick and thorough. The WiFi and cell service was a little sketchy at times depending on where you were in the room but the view and experience made it worth it.

We enjoyed our stay. The ocean views were spectacular . We could not get any cell service though. That could be improved.

The beach was great and the hotel had a nice view however the hotel wasn't as nice as I had hoped. No major complaints but I would probably look for another hotel next time I stay in the area..

Enjoyed our stay here for the Memorial Day weekend...spectacular view of the peaceful private beach from the room...nice pool area with hot tub...perfect for a weekend gateway..would love to visit again. Though next time I hope the WiFi improves !

The view is breath taking! The staff at the restaurants are the best. The location is exactly what we were looking for. The ocean is your view. It was like being transported to another planet. Loved it!

The most memorable part of the visit was the view from the room which is stunning.Food in the restaurant was great but a little expensive.

The room was a little small, but the ocean view couldn't be beat. We came for pool and the kids sprinkler area was fun for our child. The restaurant by the hotel was disappointing. Service was painfully slow, food was lukewarm and overpriced. I would stay at the hotel again without a doubt.

The view was lovely, but we had no cell service in our room which was challenging.
