Comfort Inn Sydney

I'm sorry to report this Comfort Inn location needs improvement. The room was fine (after requesting a room change due to being placed next to the mechanical room during mid week stay..). The bathroom was probably updated recently and the water pressure was good. There's a microwave and fridge in the room. The breakfast failed miserably! We arrived at 8:20am (closes at 9:30) and they'd already ran out of their allotment of waffle batter and breakfast meat for the day! I felt bad for the families who came in shortly after us and the embarrassed attendant who had to deliver the sorry state of affairs. Fresh fruit consisted only of oranges and the only bread left was English muffins. Upon checkout, I mentioned my disappointment on the breakfast and didn't get a sense she cared about my opinion. Overall I like Comfort Inns as they are great value but unfortunately this location didn't meet the mark. I'd try another location next time.

This is one of the better hotels in the town of Sydney. We stayed in the one bedroom king suite. It's very spacious. The bathroom needs a little update. But it did the trick for a quick stay. The hotel staff is very friendly. The restaurant in the hotel Trio always a fantastic choice when dining in Sydney. This hotel also has a large parking lot. With free parking. It can tend to get busy and full on weekends. But usually find free street parking near by. My standards are maybe a little too high when staying in hotels. But with limited options in Sydney I would say this is your best bet. Great location.

We stayed here for one night and were very pleased. I would agree with other reviewers that this hotel is underrated. It seemed freshly remodeled, the wifi was fast, employee interactions were good, the hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was good. what more could one want? Would recommend.

This was a nice hotel and was in an area convenient to things we wanted to do and see. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was the standard fair for a Comfort Inn. We would stay there again if we ever get back to that area.

I don't understand the other reviews, especially the person that judged it from the outside. I've stayed in most of the hotels in Sydney and this place is totally fine. Better than most even. I posted lots of pics there's literally nothing wrong with these rooms.

This is the typical Comfort Inn. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. There is no pool which again is rare in a Comfort Inn. There is air conditioning and the window opens which is a bonus. The location is fairly central and breakfast again, typical Comfort Inn style. We stay in Comfort Inns fairly frequent so there were no surprises which we were grateful.

I would give this a zero if I could. When we pulled in and saw chairs sitting around instead of in some neat order and the lack of cars in the parking lot, we got a bit nervous. This was late afternoon. The trash can at the entrance was overflowing and the lobby walk in rug looked as if it had not been swept. We asked for a key to see the room. One whiff and we knew we would not be staying. Although it was past the time to cancel, we were allowed to cancel.

Check in was quick and easy. Room was average. We had a ground floor room with outside access as we were travelling with dogs. The hotel is pet friendly. There wasn't much option for breakfast and the area was quite small. The first morning there was absolutely nothing in the fridge, no boiled eggs or yogurt or anything. Strange. Second morning the fridge was full? The hotel is located close to downtown area. Short drive to shopping and restaurants.

The Hotel is in a Central location to places the restuarants and downtown. There is no Elevator! The stairs to the second floor has a landing and is narrow. The only Ice machine is on the first floor. The room was roomy and the beds were comfortable. The Parking is good.

Older motel that has been redecorated. There is no elevator, so be sure to get a first floor room if you have problems hauling stuff upstairs. The young man at the front desk was very pleasant. The breakfast is typical. The room was clean. The bed was unbelievably in sleeping on the floor.
