Perfect location to see the town and cathedral. We are not religious but enjoyed seeing this historic town and took in evensong. Simple but clean hotel, you can fill water bottles too. Breakfast is well run and easy.
This hotel is a great place to stay when visiting the Canterbury area. It is right in the tourist area and within walking distance of may attractions. There is also transportation options within a half mile of the hotel that provides access to other areas of England and the European continent.
We were warmly welcomed, invited to relax. The rooms are tightly filled but adequate for a one- or two-night stay. The food is excellent.
This was a last minute change of plans booking and it turned out to be a great experience. The room was very nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. The on site parking was a huge bonus and easy to find. The bar had a great selection and we loved sitting in the lounge with our drinks people watching. ...
If you are looking to stay at an authentic country inn this is the place for you! It was quaint and charming with a wonderful dinning area and bar. The room was fine but quite outdated but what it lacked the rest of the Inn made up for it. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was quiet good. ...
