This hotel is far from everything in cancun except the airport. To take a taxi to the beach or town it will cost you 400 pesos. To take a taxi to/from the airport to the hotel will cost you 250 pesos. The free shuttle that is advertised is only available if you call 24 hours in advance, no exceptions. I didn't have a way to call, and arrived maybe 18 hours before I needed the airport shuttle, and they wouldn't offer it to me. I had to take a 250 peso taxi instead. The hotel itself is very average. The hot water wasn't hot tho- hottest it got was luke warm. I will say that the bed is comfortable and the hotel staff was nice. Overall, Id never stay here again or recommend it to anyone. Look elsewhere- you can do better. There are a ton of hotels in cancun and this one should be passed up.

no hot water; poorly designed bathroom; very weak water pressure; neither wash clothes nor hand towels; tiled hallways = amplified noise with rolling suitcases; disappointing results with staff after complaining of no hot water; $16.00 cab ride for 3 kilometer ride to airport is outrageous (we walked); American hotel name but not acceptable standards (we stayed in Mexican guest houses and B & Bs that had much more comfortable rooms)

We stayed there because it was close to the airport, and because the ad offered free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. Also the price was pretty good--not the cheapest but less than $100/night. Breakfast was included which was an added bonus. However there were issues. The hotel promised a free shuttle from the airport--this did not happen. I called and the desk operator told me that the shuttle was parked in space 56 and the driver would have our names. I talked to every shuttle driver in the shuttle lot and no one had our names. We called several times and the desk insisted there would be a shuttle. After waiting around a parking lot for two hours with our 6-year old son at 11PM outside the Cancun airport we finally spent the extra $20 to take a cab to the hotel. We asked if the hotel could provide us with a return trip to the airport the next morning (so we could at least get our bags, which were lost on our layover through Mexico City) and the desk refused.

You have to call 24 hours in advance if you need a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. They don't have shuttles back to the airport. They missed two guests waking up calls.

I only spent one night coming from Playa del Carmen because our flight was very early. The hotel is at convenient distance, the room was nice and clean. The bathroom had a nice big shower. What was surprising was that there were no hand or face towels, neither a mat towel for the shower. When we asked at the reception we were told that customers steal these towels, so they are now not provided. There are no restaurants near the hotel, but there is a small one on site. We had a good and fulfilling dinner there, so this was convenient as we arrived in the late evening. The most memorable and somewhat unpleasant thing was that, since the hotel amenities list "shuttle", we expected that there is a regular shuttle from the airport. When we called from the airport for it, we were told we should have ordered transportation 25 hours earlier and that the next available one was 1 hour later. We had PREPAID the night in the hotel The hotel could have sent us an e-mail about the conditions with the shuttle. So we hired a taxi from in front of terminal 2 of the airport where actually we did not have much choice but to pay 21 US dollars for less than 5 miles drive, which is what the taxi operators offered.

This was the second time we have stayed at this Comfort Inn which is conveniently located near the Cancun Aeropuerto. The airport pickup arrangement, confirmation and actual pickup went much better this trip. The hotel personnel were courteous, helpful, and friendly. They changed our $ to pesos and directed us to places down the street to eat. The room, shower and cable TV were perfect for re-entry after being on the road for 2 weeks. Breakfast got us going and we were off to the airport in a readily available taxi.

I found this hotel to be a serious budget experience--I guess you get what you pay for. We wanted to be close to the airport for our return flight the next day. Room smelled bad and the entire hotel is bathed in air fresheners, so it's a sickly smell everywhere. Walls are thin so you can hear your neighbor's TV, etc. We were given 2 bath towels for two people--no hand towels, wash cloths, etc. You can see out of the elevator where the corner did not meet fully (!?). Water only came out half of the shower-head with no pressure. There is a note that they are remodeling, but I believe we were in a "remodeled" room even though there was no artwork, etc. The "Free Hotel Shuttle" is actually only from the airport TO the hotel; you have to pay for a taxi yourself to get TO the airport from the hotel. I found that very misleading. They do have Wi-FI but you have to call and ask for it. Room felt like a cave. Next time I'd definitely pay more for a different hotel.

Hi, people, we booked the room, 2 days in advance, we went to Chichin Itza spend the hall day, after we tired came to the Comfort INN , to have some rest and before we fly. So when we tried to check in reception didn't find my confirmation # from Orbitz.com which I had,and she said we have no room avalible, all sold out. I tried to contact Orbitz.com no one respond me and they charged that money for the hotel room, where I didn't even spend any nigth. Be careful people with this Hotel...I got bad experience

This is an older hotel, very close to the airport. The rooms are basic but very clean and quiet. However, the "free shuttle" is not worthwhile. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel is only once per hour, and the hotel is no longer allowed to shuttle guests from the hotel to the airport. A taxi is 230 pesos or about $10.

Arrived and was given a room on the 4th floor. Asked if they had a shuttle to the airport for the next day and they said no there were always cabs. Elevator doors did not open all the way so you had to push them open to get the luggage in. Room appeared to be fine but the air conditioner didn't seem to fully operate until 9 pm. Some kind of timer? We went to the roof top bar to get something to eat and when the food arrived so did the mosquitoes so we took the food down to the dining room to eat. Place was empty but when we sat at a clean table the waiter directed us to a dirty one apparently since we hadn't ordered from him. Went to the room, no hot water. The airconditioner finally started working and when the compressor kicked in it was so noisy it woke us up every cycle. Got up at 4:30 to go to the airport....not only no hot water, but no water at all. Picked up the phone to call the front desk and it was dead. When I got down to the lobby and let the guy at the desk know about the shower he didn't seem surprised or concerned. Asked if they would call me a cab and the "doorman" said there were cabs out front. Went out front-no cabs so I went out to the highway to flag one down. As I looked back toward the hotel the shuttle they didn't have was being loaded with luggage and 2 people. My wife asked if the shuttle was going to the airport, driver said no. Cab pulled up and we got to the airport just in time to see the shuttle van unload the 2 people from our hote

We use this hotel just from 10pm to 8 am, good for transition

Far from food except subway and burger king. Motel restrauant leaves alot to be desired. No hot water in shower

Very nice for an airport-type hotel. It's not the Ritz, but for what it is, it's clean, comfortable, and convenient to the airport.

you get what you pay for. Beds are hard and elevator is a bit dated. I would suggest staying in a nicer hotel

I selected this hotel because it was close to the airport and I had a very early morning flight. Staff spoke English well and were polite; of course for this sort of booking I didn't need much. The room is basic but nominally has what you need. There is an included wifi and breakfast. There is free parking underground. There doesn't seem to be an elevator; I used the stairs to reach the 3rd floor so I"m not sure there is handicap access. The room was disappointing: I've stayed at Comfort Inn in the USA before, but this one had much older and more cramped facilities - unfortunately at more or less the same price point as the US. Everything in the room seemed old and the room itself seemed a bit dank or musky. The provided toiletries weren't very nice so I used my own. The internet access was spotty. The parking garage entrance/exit is very narrow and includes a 90-degree turn to/from the narrow entrance. You need to be very precise turning into the exit otherwise you will damage your car. This is a major downside because the precision required may be beyond many drivers who are tired or in a hurry to catch their flight. I was unable to exit without substantial guidance from one of the staff about how much space I had between the walls and my car.

This hotel is a perfect budget option with a FREE SHUTTLE from the airport! Staff is extremely helpful, wifi was excellent quality, better than anywhere I've stayed in the US. We stayed here twice in one trip after paying to stay in another hotel - but the taxi ride alone was going to be $78 so we looked for an alternate solution. Will def return again and recommend

We stayed at the Comfort Inn because it was close to the airport and we had an early flight. They have a complimentary shuttle from the airport but getting to the airport you're on your own. On the hotel website it mentions there is a "special fare" for getting to the airport. What it does not mention is that this special fare is more expensive - 250 pesos. An ADO bus from downtown Cancun to the airport is around 60 pesos. And from what I've read a taxi from downtown Cancun costs between 150-200 pesos. Unfortunately once you're there you're kinda locked into a taxi. Also if you go there on a arrival you will get youths hotel for free but then you're looking at 650 pesos to get downtown when again you could get there for much less straight from the airport. I would recommend NOT staying here.

We were suppose to be picked up at the airport in Cancun. We waited for quite sometime. Previously we had texted Comfort Inn and requested a pick up with the time and flight number. We finally did get them to come and pick us up. There were other customers at the hotel who had similar experiences with the shuttle service.

Nothing special about the hotel, but it did exactly what we wanted. We were arriving late to Cancun International Airport and we just wanted a place that was easy to get to so we could rest ASAP. This place fit the bill because it was really close to the airport and provided an airport shuttle, which apparently saved as USD$40. An airport employee told us that taxis from the airport start at USD$40 so the airport shuttle was a great way to save money. The only downside was that it wasn't very flexible since there is only one shuttle. We arrived early and had to wait an hour and a half before getting picked up. The hotel itself is simple. The rooms are clean and the spacious though. And there's a continental breakfast included, which also reduced other complications so we could get started with our day nice and early. I recommend this hotel for people who want a nearby place to stay after traveling, but not for an extended stay while vacationing in the Yucatan.

Expectation met, friendly people at front desk. The shower glass door and air conditioner should be fixed.
