We stayed for what I would call a long weekend. Our room was clean, we had a multitude of entertainment options available on-site and the location of the accomadations were convenient to anywhere we wanted to go. It was outstanding.
We found this resort to be exactly what we were looking for. It is located on "the quiet side of town" so once you leave the busyness of downtown it really felt like a retreat. The kitchen was well stocked, bath towels were plentiful and the bathroom was nicely updated. The pool was a gem. Good size, 6' at one end and was immaculate. Plenty of loungers and a nice shaded cabana. There was a nice recreation area with basketball, mini golf, etc and a walking trail on the grounds.
I had a family medical situation that was 7 hours from home and needed a place to stay for extended time. Floors were filthy!! Went and bought swiffer with wet pads and cleaned them myself. No ice buckets in freezer with ice maker. Had to buy one of those as well.
The Foxborough Resort is located in the city 10 - 15 minutes from just about everything there is to do, but with little traffic around it. I had reserved two suites, a one bedroom for my wife and I and a two bedroom for my daughter her husband and four kids (3 yrs to 9 yrs old). We used some of the the amenities on the property (mini golf, pool and bocce ball) on slow days to keep the kids busy. The two bedroom would sleep eight but only would sit 4 people at the table (reading other reviews this was mentioned so I brought a card table and four chairs). We ate with the kids on most days so the table and chairs were needed. There where enough pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses and silverware for everyone as long as we washed after each meal. My main complaint was the shower curtain was too long and was easy to trip over in the 1 bedroom suite don't know about the 2 bedroom. In the 2 bedroom there were a couple spills (by the children of course) and when we wiped them up we found that the rugs could have been cleaner. I asked for and received rooms on the lower floor because I and my wife have bad knees. Overall the staff was nice and accommodating, check-in and out went quickly. I don't know anything about pricing because I used the timeshare exchange RCI. The number of points I used seemed high for the quality of the rooms. For the most part I was happy with the experience and would stay here again.
We were there on RCI vacation time. A little disappointed since RCI has always had amazingly nice places. No marble countertops here. This is an older hotel that is undergoing updates, but this is not a resort style location, but was adequate for a weeks stay in Branson. Well stocked with basic necessities. Staff was friendly and willing to please. The outdoor activities for kids appeared to be very nice (it rained many days during our stay, so we didn't use). The sunny day we set aside as a pool day was beautiful. The pool is small, but plenty of towels and clean area, the lounge chairs are exceptionally nice too. The rooms were spacious and we always enjoy having a washer/dryer in the room. The only "thumbs down" I had was the carpet was very dirty and our fridge kept leaking water onto the kitchen floor.
The resort was clean, well maintained and the staff very helpful and friendly. the kitchen was nicely stocked with a variety of pots and pans, with enough dishes to serve 8, but the table only seated 4 at a time. they had an outdoor picnic area, mini golf, and a short hiking trail. It looked like an older hotel that had been remolded into a Time-share condo.
Simple but more than adequate for stay In Branson. Having a place for outside activities is great.Pool area was comfortable . Having all the equipment to check out was very Convient. Location was quiet.
Excellent location in the Branson area, close to all the restaurants, attractions, and activities of the city. Rooms were very nice and clean, and were very spacious. Foxy's restaurant also had nice games for the kids - well done.
Kitchen was tiny, no where to store anything. Pots n pans were old - everything stuck to them. Air conditioners didn't work properly - no curtains in either bedroom so light came in when trying to sleep . Disappointed!
Nice place we where pleasntly surprised after reading the mixed reviews we were a little bit weary of what we where getting ourselves into. However I saw nothing to back up the negative reviews the place was well maintained. For the most part the staff where friendly and helpful. The rooms where not the Ritz but they where clean and maintained . Wonderful location and great scenery. This review would not complete with out mentioning foxy's Bistro located at the resort Peggy the owner and her daughter n law are wonderful people. My son loves pool and playing Peggy was the highlight of his trip! Would definatly stay again.
