We arrived in the evening, and looked forward to a good rest. In fact, as we arrived, we asked to extend our stay. We had only booked for two nights, and quickly thought to make our entire stay at the Chateau - we were told they only had that one room, we said fine as we hadn't even been up to our room. Well, for $199.00 per night (which was a deal we were told) we overlooked the fan cooling system for the hotel. Very loud, always on. Also, no little fridge to keep a beverage or snack cool in room. Neither of us slept well on night one, and a $40.00 breakfast of oatmeal, a side of bacon, an omelette, coffee and tea...we were concerned. However, being our 30th anniversary trip, we thought let's not worry too much and try night two. Unfortunately, no difference. After the second night, and eating elsewhere for a tastier breakfast at half the price we decided to cancel the rest of our stay. All of a sudden, they had other rooms available and said if we cancelled, theyd charge us a fee. I kindly explained why, and said firmly that no cancellation charge would be acceptable. Finally, after 15 minutes we left, saddened because we'd hoped to have a special time on our anniversary but disappointed we'd be looking elsewhere. We did find another place. Didn't look nearly as beautiful on the outside, but we had a quiet room and a respectable view ... And a fridge in the room.

Over pricey hotel Paid premium price for lake view but got the one without balcony on third floor Pool water not heated Fire works good Overall we could've got same experience at much cheaper price

This hotel completely exceeded our expectations. What a beautiful and unique interior. The views from the decks of Table Rock lake were Breathtaking. We caught some amazing Sunsets while there. The rooms were impeccably clean and if you wanted you could never leave the property to have a Great vacation! This hotel has it ALL!

Splurge on this one ( not a cheap one) and worth it!

It was a wonderful getaway for my Husband and myself! The hotel was beautiful, right on Table Rock Lake.

Loved this hotel and I am not one easy to please. Highly recommended in my book!! Can't wait to book again.

lovely hotel exterior work being done brought the ambience down a level Only advice I would give is regarding the restaurant Breakfast portions huge offer smaller / senior size portions and drop the price

We stopped at the Chateau for a few days of unwinding following a family reunion. The hotel is 10 minutes away from the hustle & bustle of Branson but it feels like you're way out in the country surrounded by the lake & forested hills. Great pools food - and the building itself is gorgeous both inside & out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chateau, and would not hesitate to stay there again.

One of the cleanest and best hotels in Branson. Great view of the lake. A bit pricey but worth it.

Beautiful hotel, great staff, great location. Wish had a different room. Ours over look the ac units.

My husband and I have now stayed at this hotel twice-- it's become our "go to" place for a romantic getaway. We love the size of the hotel, and the staff has always been helpful. We also love the room size and cleanliness. I would recommend this place for couples and families.

My husband and I wanted a relaxing getaway and we found it here! It is such a class place and so beautiful to be around. Very well worth it! Will be staying here in a couple more weeks with more family and can't wait to come back!

Pretty hotel, great views. Not as upscale as advertised, but still a great deal for the money

They treat you a little different if you book through a third party website.

Would never consider this hotel again. Staff was very unfriendly. Don't bring a pet - their policy on the website is incorrect and not informative. While checking in we had many problems such as we booked a king suite with lake view and were put into a queen over the back of the kitchen. Never was reimbursed for the difference in price. Beware of policies at this hotel. They didn't mind at all kicking us out xmas eve!! The front desk does not know their jobs and very rude!

The hotel is very nice and the room was nothing short of great. Would highly recommend to anyone.

This is a gorgeous hotel and we enjoyed it very much! But checking in was a hassle as there was some confusion with my reservation. My initial exchange was with a gentleman named Alan, and after hearing the way he spoke to the guest in front of me I was a bit apprehensive. I had not brought my confirmation in with me, so I had to return to my vehicle for it and then get back in the check-in line. I got Alan again. He was unable to resolve the question so I asked for a manager. When Alan directed me to yet another line to wait for a manager, I looked him straight in the eye and said "Really? You are going to send me to another line?" He glared at me and walked over to the manager, continuing to glare at me over his shoulder while shaking his head!! Manager Kristina came over, resolved the problem (I was wrong, by the way) and treated me like I mattered!

This hotel is close to lake but far from downtown so it depends in your needs. The staff are very kind and helpful, the room is clean. the view was awesome. I can go back to this hotel only in summer-spring time

My husband and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary, so we wanted to take another little weekend trip just to "getaway". We find this hotel to be very welcoming, beautiful, and nice. We ate in the restaurant (set right next to the indoor waterfall) and enjoyed a lovely meal. The staff was helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend it for any couple or family.

Staff is best ever. Genuinely concerned and knowledgeable. Location is perfect, close enough to town to shop and go to shows easily, but remote enough to get away from bustle.
