My husband and I stayed here as an overnight enroute to ND. The building from the outside seems old until you walk in and everything has been newly renovated. I has a large atrium area with a pool, whirlpool and restaurant patio all enclosed. We had a King room and it was quite nice. It was updated, had a desk area, couch, microwave, bar fridge. However the best part of the room was the updated bathroom. It had heated tile floor and an incredible shower with extra jets in the wall that massage your back. Best shower I had in awhile. Lost of pressure, hot water and the shower head could accommodate someone taller than 6 feet. Bed was comfortable, had a decent duvet, lots of pillows. The two ladies at check in/check out were both friendly and efficient. Told us on check in where to find our room. She also told us we could move our car around to be parked just outside our room and we could use the side door. Made it easy with the small piece of info. Very good stay and would come again

We experienced excellent service that made our 8 day stay perfect. The staff went over and above to arrange accommodation for our family and our Thanksgiving dinner celebration and my Mother's 92nd birthday celebration with our large family was just amazing to have us all in a beautiful private banquet room. The Thanksgiving meal was delicious with all the traditional dishes. We also felt like home having our family come to visit with us at your restaurant where we were able to spend quality time together chatting and eating; we never felt rushed. The food was delicious and the complementary breakfast was a great start to our day. Our handicap room was perfect and worked well with my mother's needs. It was also great how your front desk assisted "Daughter's on call" service to provide personal care workers and equipment delivery and pickup to assist with our hotel stay to make it more like our home. We will come again. Thank you all.

We came to Brandon for a family wedding and this hotel was a great place to stay! Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Room was newly updated and clean. Restaurant food was good as well. We will be back!

I booked travel for 3 staff attending training in Brandon. They loved the hotel. The staff were friendly. The amenities were great and they really enjoyed themselves. I would recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. I always have the staff let me know if there were any issues and they gave a great review.

I stayed here with my two kids after we travelled out to Souris to explore the agate pit. We thought we would give Victoria Inn a try, just to experience something different from one of the motels on the highway north of town. The front desk person we dealt with (lucky for her I now forget her name) was unfriendly, dismissive, and rather condescending. First impressions matter greatly to me, and so after we arrived worn and tired from our agate hunting, I was disappointed in the way we were "greeted" by this individual. She couldn't even ensure that a room was ready for us! "Come back if it's not done," was her response. I wasn't going to write a review in TripAdvisor, because I had taken the time to fill out a comment card, which I mailed in Brandon before we left. To date, no one has contacted me. I guess the hotel doesn't care if it is just one guest's private comment.

Nice hotel, food was good, staff friendly and helpful, was really disappointed with condom wrappers floating around in the pool Sunday morning though. Checking the pool area before opening and allowing children in the water seems simple enough.

This was the recommended hotel of choice for our recent class reunion at Brandon University, in part due to proximity to the institution. However, I have stayed here during previous visits to the Wheat City. Last time, there was room retrofit work in progress, now completed. The new bathroom showers are a major improvement giving the rooms a very modern feel. The coffee in the room is excellent and we liked it better than that served at breakfast in the restaurant. Our room care team [Xiao & Natalia] did a superb job. Oh yes, the king size bed was amazingly comfortable. If you do not like noise, try for a room away from the popular pool area, especially on weekends. Also be sure to get a window room. Despite a 5 day stay, we were initially offered a windowless room [who knew they existed], #234 I think!!

Stayed here this week for 3 nights. Enjoyed the free hot breakfast - the food was very well prepared (although the kitchen struggled to get the medium poached eggs just right), and had a nice dinner in the lounge on my arrival. The Front Desk and Restaurant/Lounge staff were all very friendly.

I stayed at the hotel and ate at the on-site restaurant called 34th Street. The hotel was spacious with various wings on two floors. It includes a pool and whirlpool; however I did not use either due to time constraints. The room was large with comfortable beds, a clean and spacious bathroom with a rainfall shower. Overall the room was clean. The restaurant had a hot breakfast included with the room fee. As well, there was a good selection for lunch and dinner. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful to all guests. There is a large conference area and ballroom that was used for our purposes. This hotel was a definite great choice.

We made a trip out from Calgary to visit family and stayed for 1 night. Hotel was near capacity due to northern fire evacuees. More consideration to noise would be appreciated. Staff at breakfast always cheerful and friendly. I would stay again.
