I got charged a room fee plus a $100 damage deposit that was pre authorized to say I would check in by 6. No where does it say this on the Expedia website that the hotel does this. I was less than pleased. There is a reason I book to pay at the property and this was certainly not the case the last time I checked in which was last summer when just the pool was open. I get they want to guarantee their guests will be checking in. But not even informing the guest on the website and then all of a sudden a pre auth of money gone that you need is unacceptable.

Hotel and room had an odd odour, the carpet in the room was dirty and in poor condition and loose, mattresses were worn, hit & miss on hot water in shower and the paper thin shower curtain was barely long enough to stay in shower; had use multiple towels because so much water would leak out and they excercise area was closed and full of junk; which is one reason I picked this hotel.

Pleasant staff. Rooms were decent but obvious wear and age. Walls are made of tissue paper so you hear every footstep. I was surprised to see no tea bags offered in rooms but I asked at the desk and she found me Red Rose, which was alright. I spent two night, first night I froze 1/2 the night(after turning up thermostat), second night was better. All around, priced a bit high for a pipeliner quality hotel. Just my opinion.
