New Favorite Boston Hotel

I can't believe I've never stayed at a Marriott Vacation Club before. The Custom House in Boston was an incredible experience, and everything was brilliant. From the extremely helpful concierge, Monika, to the very easy valet parking, to the wonderful room with incredible views, it was just an extremely enjoyable experience. The play place for the kids was super helpful in allowing them to burn off some excess energy before bedtime, and the view from the top floor was undeniably gorgeous. I can't wait to plan my next trip and stay here again.

Great hotel and great staff. The rooms are first-come, first-served, so if you are given a lower room (we received one on the 1st floor), kindly ask to be switched to a higher room the next day. They were great about that. Very large rooms, clean and spacious - perfect for a family traveling!

This hotel is such a great hidden gem! We LOVED the observation deck and the history throughout the hotel. The rooms were well maintained and the high ceilings make the room seem so much bigger. It’s steps from Quincy market and Faneuil! We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Boston

Excellent location! Superb concierge service!

Excellent location! Just a block from all main amenities. Beautiful hotel! Super clean and great service. The only reason why I’m giving a 4 star is because of the breakfast. Extremely simple. It is more like a Cafe place where you have to pay for a muffin or make your own egg. Luckily there’s plenty of cafes around the area.

Those who appeared to be residents of the Custom House 5th floor and above were not as friendly as the staff. The continental breakfast was a pay A La Cart, instead of included in the price. The location was exactly what we wanted. We were able to get everywhere's in Boston that we wanted to and a very walkable location to everything

A beutiful historic hotel in the best location is boston. Valet parking made it easy. The tob observation area allowed us to see all over boston from tables . The bar drinks were nice. An elegant hotel with spacious rooms.

Super helpful and polite front desk - helped us get cabs, took care of us when the bed was too high for my elderly and short mother to climb into. Beautiful room, very comfortable - even the sofa bed. Separate climate control for sitting and sleeping rooms. Huge windows but effective light blocking shades. Quiet even though we were on the first floor next to the breakfast room. Walkable to all your classic Boston sights - Boston Garden, Freedom Trail, aquarium, Harbor Front, etc. Lots of great food steps away (State Street Provisions, Legal Seafood, Quincy Market Food Hall). Convenience store right across the parking lots. (Our cab was for the airport.) Free programming like bird presentations and movies, amazing observation deck for guests only, game room, gym. Free coffee and hot chocolate in the breakfast service. Good WiFi. Absolutely top notch.
