We checked in after a very long and delayed flying experience. We were greeted with a very cordial and sympathetic check in staff. They were very professional and guided us to the only nearby restaurants open for business.

The room was nicely kept, very clean, comfortable beds, etc., but very small. I kept hitting my leg on the corner of the bed when I walked by and I am a very petite person. I have stayed in hotels throughout the country and Europe and this was probably the smallest room ever. We did not spend much time in the room so it was fine for us, but if that is a consideration it may not be the right choice for you. The location was good, in between government area and the North End and close to Quincy Market. The restaurant had a limited menu, but the food we ate was very good.

The staff at this hotel is incredible. If you like dealing with friendly people that provide excellent service, then this is your hotel. I would have given 5 stars all around except for the fact that my bedding, although very clean and comfortable, was worn. There were small holes and very thin spots from use in the pillow cases, sheets, etc. The maids should be able to see and report this to the management, so I'm not sure if they aren't doing that or the budget for new sheets/bedding is tight. Other than that, its an excellent hotel in a super location, especially if you want to be a 5 minute walk from TD Garden to see sporting events.

The staff was absolutely amazing. We had a blast the room was gorgeous, walking to distance to everything. Early check in and late check out they hold your bags and the parking garage where your car gets parked is secure and safe and doesn't have to be out til 3.

Very nice hotel, staff was friendly. very pleased! would definitely reccommend

I stayed here to be close to work location (MGH) but also perfect if going to the Garden for an event- 1 block away. There are an abundance of eateries and bars. We had a nice room, they run to the small size but clean, comfortable, nice amenities, and friendly staff.

Everything was nice but did have some street noise from fire station and construction.

Great location, great staff, particularly front desk and bar staffs Too costly

Loved staying at The Boxer Hotel. We were going to see a show at the Wilbur Theatre (which we love) and decided to take the whole weekend in Boston. The location of The Boxer is terrific. We were able to walk to the North End quickly. Jog along the Charles. And walk to the Wilbur and other Boston landmarks easily (we like to walk...so a mile here or there doesn't feel extreme) The room at The Boxer (King) was very comfortable. The bed was like a cocoon that held you all night ! While the rooms are not large, they are plenty big and they have made them lovely and welcoming. The lightening in the room could use a little attention. There is one light and nightstand next to one side of the bed - but no light or nightstand on the other side. So if both people want to read (without the big bright overhead light on) - it can't happen. Even a small wall hung lamp w/ a small shelf (for a cup of tea or coffee) would be great. OR maybe a dimmer on the big bright overhead light. The staff (all that I met) were helpful and upbeat. Very positive. I would definitely stay at The Boxer again!

Will absolutely stay here again when we are in Boston! The staff is extremely friendly and professional the rooms are very clean, the bed very comfortable and our room on the 7th floor was extremely quiet.

Great location and price for downtown Boston. Walking distance to to most section

Nice, cute, clean and small hotel. Love staying here.

This was my second time staying at the Boxer. Upon checking in, the staff gave us a free drink to the bar (which we forgot to use) but that was a nice gesture. The room was beautiful, beds were very comfortable. I LOVE the showers at Boxer and the unique design. One thing I would change is that the room can only go to 65 degrees so we were hot all night in the room because the windows can't open either. I think the guests should have more flexibility with the degrees that they can set their rooms to 65 is actually hot overnight.

This is a terrific boutique hotel convenient to the TD Garden and within minutes walking distance to Boston's North End. Everything about The Boxer met or exceeded our expectations. Yes, the room was small, but who spends much time in their room? It was exceptionally clean and well maintained. A responsive and pleasant staff help make this a place we would definitely return to!

We only had one day in Boston, and the Boxer helped us make it one great day. Alec, at the front desk, was beyond helpful in telling us everything that we should check out, and he told us the best ways to get around. The hotel is located in a great neighborhood, just a few quick blocks from Little Italy. It was very easy to get around, and the hotel/room was adorable. While it was a bit small, it got the job done, and who goes on vacation to sit in the room anyways? There was perfect wifi, and the room was very cute! The lobby was really nice, and every employee we encountered was beyond friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was very clean. Great looking rooms and location. Easy to get to from the subway. Will book again when in Boston.

The staff was very friendly. The room was awesome. The hotel was under contraction when we were there but it was still an excellent stay.

The hotel was very cool. Rooms were a little small, but nicely appointed.

The staff was very nice. The hotel was clean and very stylish. They had bikes for is to use while to see the city. The only draw back was parking but other than that it was a great stay.

everything ok, we enjoyed ou stay walking distance to attractions
