Love being on the waterfront! Very walkable location.

Nice waterfront location. Nice room layout. I got an upgrade on check-in. Full gym with a good amount of equipment including free weights. Good pool area. I didn't know it on my trip but the locker rooms had steam rooms in them. I liked it enough to stay there again.

The hotel is nice but there are many nice hotels in Boston. They do seem to “nickel-dime” as there was no water in the room. Two tiny bottles in mini bar but not enough even at these prices. I mentioned to front desk staff that it was poor form for a property of this caliber to leave bad impresssions... that the little things matter a lot. She had obviously heard this before and didn’t really seem to care. I can almost see the accountant squeezing a few extra bucks of margin out of a bottle of water on their spreadsheets! So bottom line....nice enough hotel. Not providing water to guest after a long day at these prices? You can do better than this...cheesy.

Very professional staff all around. Really enjoyed our stay 👍

I did enjoy the stay, but last day Sep. 23 th, nobody cleans the room.

Staff was amazing! The room service guy noticed my son coughing and came back with a tray of tea, honey, hot water, and ginger ale, all at no charge. So thoughtful! Impeccably clean and a nice location.

This is not a five star hotel! Their rooms are super outdated. Everything looks like it needs a ravamp. Orbitz claims this is a 5 star property but it only has 4 stars but I wouldn’t give it even 3 stars. Complete waste of money and terrible service too!

I did not receive the room I booked. There were two different water view rooms with 1 King bed at the time of the booking with different rates and different water views. The lower rate had a single window in the room pictured. The higher rate had a two corner windows. I selected the higher rate with the anticipation of two corner windows, received room with single window, low floor with the partial view of the roof below. I was told by front office manager that the room I booked is not available and when asked for an upgrade I was told I would have to pay the difference. This room still is advertise as such - two different rates, same description, different pictures. This was our first visit to Boston and I my last visit to this hotel. Boston is a beautiful city, but the service in InterContinental very disappointing. Suggestion to the hotel - It is not really good impression when front desk staff smells like tobacco. Why is Orbitz showing two rates for the same room? When I asked front desk who's fault is this, I was told it is nobody's fault.... I did not received a refund of the rate difference either. According to another staff member I am not a first guest that complained about this situation. False advertising.

Fantastic soaking tub and awesome shower! Bath towels could be upgraded. Great location downtown

It was beautiful and extremely clean. They take pride in what they do

The room was large and had incredible views. The bed was extremely comfortable. I will definitely stay at the InterContinental Boston again.

Nice property and staff was very helpful. Woukd stay again.

Location to major historic sites is excellent, nice walking area along the harbor close to restaurants

Given the status of this hotel, I expected more. There was no Diet Coke in the mini bar, two lightbulbs in the room were out, the carpet was dirty and there wasn’t enough shampoo in the bathroom.
