Difficult to locate at night considering it is near the ramp/ tunnels to NewYork. Difficult to see the side road that leads to the front of the hotel. Great Hotel once you arrive. Great shopping nearby and very walkable.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. In general, it’s a nice place. The one thing you should know if you want to book here is that the mattresses are extremely hard. If you sleep on your side, you might want to look elsewhere.

Overall this hotel is in a great area and is a solid. However, the A/C was not working properly. The staff was aware of this, but they did not inform us or other guests as we checked in. The heat literally would not cut off. We placed it at 69 and it got up to 78 and kept going. We spoke with staff and they acted as if that was odd and sent someone to the room. A facilities staff came and said that the cold air wasn’t working and was under maintenance and that the heat would not cut off. He told us when we get hot to open the window when we got hot and that when we got cold to close it and turn on the heat, but to be sure to manually turn it off. Wild. Staff downstairs then asserted it was a “thing they did this time of year”—no A/C??? They gave us conflicting narratives and various staff said the issue was for a different reason. They said they had no solution. I was up throughout the night for two nights opening and closing the window, turning on and off the heat manually, etc. I spoke with the manager Ben and he was kind and issued us a partial refund. We aren’t paying for a hotel in the middle of winter in Boston without functioning heat or air.

This is an excellent choice for a non-luxury hotel. Great location and clean, comfortable rooms. The only slight drawback is that it doesn't provide breakfast, which I normally like to have in the hotel before setting off for the day. But there are plenty of cafes to choose from in the vicinity. It's in a great location and very handy for Copley T station.
