Small clean room (overlooking an air shaft) with very loud mechanicals. Fantastic Back Bay location. Would have liked to try hotel bar which looked charming but it was closed for private events for the entire weekend I was there. Elevator seems to be on its last legs - needs servicing. Staff nonchalant. Appreciate an historic hotel but not sure this one was worth the $.

Location and Comfort

Most comfortable bed, sheets and pillows - all hypo allergenic. Great location for public transportation and with pull in area for UBER. Two malls across the street, one with Eataly and other restaurants, the other a top retailing stores. Close to major evening restaurants, but still quiet where located. No restaurant or meals in hotel itself. Older building with slow elevators.

Cute hotel! Did what it needed to do. Would have liked a place to fill up my water bottle (like a water fountain) instead of having to either drink tap water or buy a bunch of water. The had a guest kitchen with hot water but turned off the cold water.
