The Inn At St Botolph

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

This was our first time at this hotel, for a convention. The location, staff, helpfulness, and the room set-up was excellent. I was quite satisfied, plus access to many sights that Boston has to offer. We'll definately be back...thank you!

Very good location, stylish room, and great customer service.

The inn was in a great location near Copley Place, Prudential mall, Newbury Street. The rooms were spacious and included free wifi. There is no 24 hour front desk so that's something to keep in mind if you're arriving very late or if you need something late at night. The keyless entry was a bit annoying as you needed to either carry the passcode with you or always refer to it on your phone. For the price, it was an Ok experience and was fine for 1 night.

Hotel was wonderful, trendy quaint experience with beautiful room. Parking a bit confusing but wonderful once we checked in, which required brief on street parking to unload luggage and get directions. Quick walk to the Prudential and local restaurants. Hostess helpful with printing of directions to our map to Newport, RI. A wonderful first trip to New England for celebration of our 33 anniversary!

Minutes away from the Prudential Center & Newbury Street.

Located walking distance to Copley Square, Newberry St, the Boston Marathon Finish Line, the Prudential Center and Fenway Park, the Inn is quintessentially Boston. Our spacious 4th floor suite overlooked the treetops and the brilliant colors of autumn.A well appointed kitchen made it ideal for a longer stay. Great continental breakfast with outstanding coffee. Do not miss a meal at Atlantic Fish Company and window shopping inside Prudentisl Center on the way to this superb restaurant on Boylston St. And with a four poster bed with a perfectly firm mattress and tasteful furnishings throughout, iwe loved our stay at the Inn, which was more like an apartment than an impersonal hotel. I highly recommend this gem.

Hotel is perfect for a few night getaway. Close to everything.

The Inn would be ideal for someone staying multiple nights. We were only in town for the evening, so we couldn't make use of the kitchen area (a nice amenity for a longer trip). It was great being able to store a bottle of wine in a full-sized refrigerator vs. worrying about having to cram in a mini-fridge. Room was clean. Great shower (no bathtub). Location was excellent -- just a minute's walk to the shops and restaurants on Newbury Street. And our Uber ride to Fenway Park was less than $10. I'd recommend the Inn @ St. Botolph to anyone staying in Boston for a few nights.

seems like a converted apartment building, but a really nice one. really large rooms with a kitchen, super friendly & helpful staff. def would come back.

I would rate this as 3.5 stars. It is a great location with easy access to subway. But it is also walking distance to lots of things to do. In fact we walk all the way from hay market subway going past many of the sights and key areas of Boston and didn't feel tired. One down side room divider did not close.

Perfect location, comfort, and accessibility, visited with my wife and son and the one bedroom was wonderful with the partial kitchen, living room, and bedroom setup. It allowed us to sprawl out in the room and get around quickly when we were out of the room with the expo and boylston street just a block or two away and a subway stop just around the corner. completely and utterly recommended.

Our experience at the Inn at St Botolph could not have been better. The staff was extremely accommodating and the room was extremely clean and comfortable. If you need a comfortable, spacious room in the Back Bay - this is the place to stay!

The rooms were just exquisite and absolutely comfy. Location is great for shopping and dinning in and around copley square. There is also a T station about 5 blocks away.

Was in town for conference and booked this last minute because there was nothing else available in my pricerance. Would definately stay here again on purpose! Wanted to take the bed home it was so comfy! On a leafy side street amongst rows of brownstones and doesn't even look like a hotel from the front (see pic). You would never know it was there. Hotel doesn't have much in the way of amenties (ie, bar/restaurant) but you are literally around the corner from Huntington Ave and the Prudential which is a huge nightlife/restaurant area . Was on the ground floor and was nice and quiet. The only odd thing is it can be a little eerie as there really isn't much staff there and no-one in the office at night. All done w/email, passcodes and punchkeys. However, 1/2 price of most other hotels in that area and very nice.

The location of this hotel was great, and it was aesthetically pleasing. If you get a Subway pass or Charlie Ticket, you can get pretty much anywhere worth going. This was my first trip to Boston and when I go back, I will be staying at the Inn at St. Botolph again for sure!

A perfect neighborhood gem Allowed kids to stay right around the corner for Christmas. No real frills but cute, clean and breakfast too.

Charming, quiet, very nicely decorated. Apartment-like accommodations (refrigerator, stove ,dishwasher) in a lovely historic neighborhood. We even had a gas log fireplace. Not your typical hotel-no lobby, no concierge staff, no room service but we loved it. Very convenient location. It is a block away from world-class shopping, great restaurants, etc. The staff (2 in office) was friendly and helpful. Complementary breakfast was good...I loved the cappuccino maker!

Inn is in a great location and we had the 2 bedroom suite . The atmosphere --no big lobby --gives you the feeling of your own little apratment in the middle of a back bay neighborhood Downside on the 2 bedroom suite is the second bedroom which is smalland only has a full size trundle bed --but its comfortable . My only problem was with the staff .We were need in of asmall extension cord and the girl at the desk not only was curt about not having one she never looked , just said no and turned her back and went back to work --No suggestion of where we might find one etc . She defintlety needs guest reations training --or a new job

I stayed here while dropping my son off at his new college. I loved the location, the keyless entry and the stylish look of the rooms. Bed was super-comfy, as was the couch. Priced affordably, especially since there is a kitchenette, which I used for lunches and making one dinner to save lots on food costs. Last visit to Back Bay, I stayed at a similar price hotel with old rooms in need of new look and furniture, no kitchenette, grumpy staff. Inn at St. Botolph is my go-to for visiting my son in Boston!

Felt like living in someone's condo - nice living room area, full kitchen, and very comfortable bed. Solid and free wifi. Dresser and 2 closets. There was a big TV too. Staff was great. Check-in/out was very easy. Breakfast was bagels, oatmeal, english muffins, and yogurt. Only thing keeping it from 5-star: - very brief, minor noise sometimes in the night - some minor repairs (i.e. shower door didn't close all the way)
