There is a great French restaurant within walking distance. The only issue I had was that there is a bar/club close by that played extremely loud music until late like 2-3 am.
The staff were friendly and efficient but the building is rundown and the rooms were not clean.
Orbitz booked a property that wasn't available. I spent 2 hours getting to the hotel and parking in a heavily traffic parking garage only to find out they never had a room. Said they had 8 or 9 others this happened to that day.
We wanted a place to stay where we could walk to bars and restaurants. This place was it. It's a nice hotel in a good part of the city.

Checked in a my toilet was broken and shower drain didn’t drain water out reported it to management and general manager Mrs Rita ignored the issues until I emailed guest services and IHG properties and after staying in hotel for 2 nights then maintenance fixed my toilet but never fixed my shower drain I would never advise none to stay at this hotel indigo it is poorly managed
When checking in my bathroom was not clean, but my overall stay was great.
Appeared to be old property that was recently updated. Likely breakfast. Close to restaurants and medical facilities.
Friendly people. Staff is amazing. But shabby conditions for an Indigo. Bar wasn't open two of the nights because "there was no bartender". No breakfast on Monday morning. No water in the rooms. Asked for coffee maker but they didn't bring cups, sugar, etc. Wouldn't stay again...

The check in staff was rude. Very rude. The curtains in the room wouldn’t block out the bright street lights. It’s in the downtown area and a street performer played 5 gallon bucket drums late into the evening
Always love staying at an Indigo hotel when I can. The Birmingham location at Five Points is wonderful! Great staff. We had a very minor problem w/ our room and they were on top of it. Everything fixed in minutes.
