The setup of the property was nice. However, the pool was green due to algae and our nonsmoking room obviously had been smoked in. The pillows were also very small and flat for a King bed.
Clean and nice staff
Convenient but their remodeling is noticeable. Room was not fully set up, and had things missing.
Its clean over looks a beautful pool. They def keep up there grounds the landscaping is amazing
I had to go get cleaning supplies and clean my own tub, toilet and sink. Absolutley disgusting! After i scrubbed it was much better!
Asked for non-smoking and got smoking room and we are not smokers. It was late so we were just ready for sleep. Woke up smelling like a cigarette. Actually cancelled rooms at another hotel because all they had was smoking and this was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Old hotel and things falling down. Only breakfast I saw were some doughnut holes and that was it
I feel about bad about writing this, but this hotel was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in after YEARS of budget hotels. I just needed a rudimentary room for a few hours of sleep, and I thought, "how bad can it really be?"...the answer is: no amount of penny-pinching is worth it. For a handful of dollars more, you can stay in decent hotels a stone's throw away, and you'll never begrudge a single dime of it. The truth is, this property was probably the epitome of luxury in its heyday---which I'm guessing was the 1970s. Whoever owns it is clearly attempting to make improvements (like the new mini fridge & microwave)...but the truth is, there's really no saving this place. The smell of decades of smoking and, most strongly, mildew are nauseating when entering the space. Truly, after returning home, I had to wash everything that I brought into the room because it smelled so strongly of mold. New tile in the bathroom couldn't save the dingy, dark, decaying space (there are lamps but no outlets, the walls are coming apart in the corners), and the mirror strongly suggested that it had been found in a garbage dump. We didn't want to touch anything and even put plastic bags over the sink knobs. Look, I'm the farthest thing from a hotel snob imaginable, and I've stayed in some pretty basic rooms, but this was the first place that I've seriously considered just wasting the money to go someplace else for the night. RUN AWAY, any other hotel at this exit is infinitely better.
