Staff is not nice but location is very good. My room is top of the building with balcony. Nice view too.
excellent location. friendly staff. fairly clean but need more amenities. lack of coffee machine. need more space to order stuff ( no drawers). all in all its good for a stay in the heart of gothic quarter.
Great location right on the Ramblas, and easy to get to via public transportation from the airport. Convenient, and plenty adequate.
It is in a great spot. Near the Gothic area. Also plenty of cabs all hours of the day and night.
Very nice hotel on Las Ramblas Friendly Staff Good Breakfast
Hotel is old, small, but location is perfect. Don't eat on this street - just few blocks away you'll find quiet restaurants.
read comments and only negative was thin walls and noise complaints. turned out to be the least of the problems. I stayed for about 15 minutes and left forfeiting my payment. found another hotel that was more expensive but far superior. my first bad experience since booking thru you.
The location was great, there's a lot to see in walking distance,a bit dodgey at night but fun.The best thing I can say about my room is that it was clean and the bathroom was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the ac didn't work so it was very stuffy almost insufferable some nights.
I needed an additional evening and was charged less at the front dest than what Orbits charged me for the origianl nights stay. Very little english spoken and was not able to get directions to locations or recommendations for places to eat. Room was clean but room security could be an issue to others.
The room was clean and was the only one with hardwood floors instead of carpet. I actually liked it better because of that. It was small but adequate (you don't go on vacation to stay in the room). The real problem was the noise from the street below. The hotel is well located (right on La Ramblas) but the noise from the street at night makes it impossible to sleep. The breakfast was good. The staff at the hotel was helpful but only grudgingly so--it always seemed to be an imposition when we asked a question.
The hotel is right in the middle of Las Ramblas! I have never seen so much people!! We took the Metro from the train station. The train stop is a few meters away from the hotel. We had a very spacious room with 3 beds - a full bed and a twin bed in one room and another twin bed in the adjacent room. A crib was also available but we didn't need it. Breakfast was included in our accommodation so that was really helpful. They have quite a good food selection. We had a wonderful experience and will stay here again if we return to Barcelona.
Buffet breakfast was great. Only bad thing I could say is that they need some new towels. They were thin and dingy.
the best /inexpansive/way to see Barcelona is hop on hop of bus
We lucked out with booking a double room for 2 guests at this hotel since they gave us the 9th floor - room 901, which has a large patio that overlooks Hotel Gaudi's terrace nextdoor as well as a breathtaking view of Barcelona! The double beds consist of 2 twin beds pushed together, and their linen and towels are very old. Although its beds are not the most comfortable, the location is superb! We were a simple 5 minute walk to a hop-on/hop-off sightseeing tourbus and the Metro station. We were also within a 10 minute walking distance to Catalunya. Las Ramblas is the place to be for shopping, eating, sightseeing, and nightlife.
great location, but small room w/ 2 twin beds pushed together for two individuals

Barcelona was an exciting city. We took a bus tour, walked around, visited a museum or two and felt the excitement of the city. We took a cruise out of Barcelona and then when we returned, we took an AVE train to Madrid. Barcelona will always hold fond memories for me.
