Despite in operation for the last 20 years, Hotel Bangi Putrajaya (HBP) which was then known as Equatorial Hotel until recently, still manges to retain its charms. The whole building has been well maintained and spotlessly clean as when I stayed there more than 10 years ago. For the newie to Bangi you need a GPS to guide you as the Bangi town is not easy to navigate. Its location is ideal for overseas travelers who enter the country via KLIA. Rooms are big and clean with large, comfortable beds that offer a good night's sleep. The surrounding is quiet. I had a room (6th floor) that has a balcony and overlooks the beautifully landscaped garden and the lovely swimming pool next to it. You can have a workout at the gym which is open 24/7. Free shuttle bus transport is available to the nearby IOI City Mall in just 20 minutes depending an traffic conditions. Breakfast at Funtasi cafe was above average. However the staff at the egg station appeared unable to cope with the high demands for omelette etc. I requested two sunny sides but gave up on the long waiting on the first day. Things were no better on the second day but managed to have my sunny sides (which were over-cooked) after a wait. All in it was an enjoyable two-nights stay.

It is a five stars hotel with good and quiet environment. Staff is friendly and it is a good location for relax and stay out of city. Hotel room is spacious and in good condition. My guest is very happy in her stay.

1. Hotel - Old fashioned design. But looks clean and nice. 2. Toilet - Clean but we still spotted a cockroach in the toilet. 3. Hotel amenities - Good, but no toothbrush set provided. You need to request for it. 4. Service - Not happy with their arrangement. We put a note during our booking, saying it will be our 15th anniversary. But upon check in, nothing has been done by the hotel management. Not even some rose pedals or towel deco despite I told them it was our anniversary during check in too. They just answered "ok". There was a Caucasian (night shift), very rude and unfriendly. She didn't smile at me, no greeting at all even we had an eye contact and stared at me like I am just no body to her. Not happy with her service. But the next day during our check out, there was another Caucasian receptionist. She was nice with good smile and very polite. 5. Food - Buffet breakfast was good. I like the "DIY" fresh juice concept. We can make our 100% fresh juice (apple, carrot and celery). Big thumb up for that. Food was good and I love their pastry. Overall, we had a great night at the hotel. Another plus point, they provide free shuttle service from hotel to IOI city mall and KL town till mid night, which I love the concept very much.

Breakfast croissants and juice bar and a colourful wheel is what distinguishes the Coffee House. While the rest of the food is good, the croissants are OUTSTANDING - world class - the right amount of chewiness and crispy. Utterly divine. The Chef Mohd Radzi stands tall. The only drawback of the hotel is that you will have to use Grabtaxi and wait for local taxis to take you to shopping malls nearby. It is a golf hotel - lush vegetation that creates the impression that you are in a resort and by the sea when it is in the middle of a city - Putrajaya, Malaysian government's seat of administration

This hotel is far away from the hustle and bustle of KL city, but near IOI City Mall which makes it a peaceful and private yet convenient for those who seek for a secluded getaway but still want some fun nearby. Hotel is clean, well-maintained. My wife and I love the swimming pool and gym and the beautiful garden. We've been to few 4 & 5 star hotel breakfasts, but the buffet breakfast in Funtasia is certainly one of the better ones. We enjoyed our stay in the suite and certainly will be back again for short weekend staycation in the future.

We have chosen Bangi-Putrajaya for a stop-over in KL. It's located a 45-50 minutes drive from the international airport so probably a bit far for a 12 hours stop-over but the transfer was well organized and the driver very nice. Arrived for a late check-in, such disappointment, long wait at the counter and magnetic room key not working so we wasted 45 minutes starving. Ordered food from the Room service after 10PM and the groom asked us to pay cash. We said that he could charge back to the room and he replied that is not something that they normally do. Very surprising. The room are suffering from the time and probably used to be good but are now tired. The next day was a bit better as the breakfast buffet was a delightful surprise. Plenty of choice of delicious food with a lot of variety. The pool was under cleaning when we arrived but is surrounded by vegetation that makes it relaxing.

I love to stay in the bangi putra jaya. It has a nice quite surrounding with lots of green and beautiful garden it is very peaceful. Quality of the restaurants is good EPA d the staff is very friendly. The beds are new but very unconfirtable so they need to be replaced I think

Had a good and comfortable stay at this hotel. Comfortable bed and powerful air conditioner but certain fittings can be a little bit old and the interior of some cabinets may appear to be dusty which some proper cleaning and maintenance should be able to take care of it. Quite far from the city and is only recommended to those travelling in car. Peaceful surrounding as the hotel is location within a golf course. My second stay with the hotel and the environment is simply superb.

A well-maintained hotel, the facilities - the room, the swimming pool, hotel surroundings, etc. are all at a tip-top condition. The place is located at a secluded area but feel secured. The service staff are friendly.

We stayed here many many times, and it never fails us. We took premier family room with 2 king beds which was pretty spacious. The renovation has just been completed, with just one more section near the lobby to go. The breakfast was excellent, there was one minute fried rice, make your own juice, and so on. It was an excellent stay, and we will definitely return if time premits.
