The property is pretty but needs some maintenance and up keep. The carpeting in room "C" was very old, ripped and stained. You need to keep the outdoor seating area including balconies clean and remove leaves and sticks.

Manager Rosie was amazing addressing our needs personally and promptly. I wish to come back soon and enjoy other room accommodations.

Beautiful quaint hotel tucked away in the middle of Columbia. A great get away from busy life. Hotel staff were cortious and accommodating. Would definitely go again!

The finishings are worn and the room is very small. There is mold in the bathroom

If I can use superlatives, this is the most unique hotel in which I have stayed.

Very nice, quiet enough that it seems out of the way, but is very close to Columbia and even Baltimore isn't too far. Would definitely stay there again!

I once lived in Columbia but was unaware of the "hotel". It was more of the traditional B&B then hotel. Lovely place, great staff. We had a wonderful stay. My brother and his wife that we had not seen in years, met us there and felt the same. Great breakfast on top of everything else.

We enjoyed the overall hotel experience. There were lots of gathering areas to sit and read a book or watch TV. We took advantage of the game room, breakfast every morning, and the snacks every evening.

Great staff and very good breakfast , very great place to relax

No environmental control. Room door was so badly hung anyone outside could peek in. Wi-Fi strength was poor, but workable. Curbside was nearly impossible to distinguish from adjacent residential property with virtually no signage. Not ADA compliant. No soundproofing at all. Was shushed multiple times in public areas for taking in normal tones.

We stayed three nights during the week and were treated to lovely accommodations, wonderful breakfasts and restorative evening refreshments as if provided by thoughtful hosts. The museum quality ceramics and striking statuary decorating this German country-style manor, classical music on the CD player in the dining area, and French doors to the deck, together create an elegant and romantic, yet homey, ambience.

The Columbia Inn at Peralynna is a magnificent structure with tastefully appointed rooms and wonderful amenities. My wife and I were impressed with the romantic suite (D) in which we spent a night. The staff made us feel like family and treated us like royalty. Delicious wine, cheese and dessert in the evening, tasty breakfast in the beautiful dining room. 5 Star!

Good breakfast red wine policy is not friendly. enthusiastic staff good rates small quite & cozy

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences. We value all of our guests and work very hard to provide a wonderful experience for you. Our rooms and suites come in various sizes..for example, we have rooms from our economy suites to our very expansive Grand Spa Suites)... 240 sq ft to nearly a1,000 sq feet. We are in mid-renovations right now...we have just finished renovating one whole floor. Four floors to go- It is our 5th whole building renovation in 22 years! We also have the new commercial kitchen underway to better serve our guests. It is quite a project but we believe that the end results will provide several of the extra dining experiences that many of our guests have requested over the years. We always recommend that our guests please call us directly with their reservation request so that we can ensure that you they chosen the room that matches your expectations- even if they have already booked online- we don't like to see disappointed guests ... and we usually have just the right room for everyone:) If you will call us directly, we would appreciate having a word with you about the particular unit you were in, so that we can immediately address any issues or concerns and make things right with you. Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you. David & Cynthia
