Booked a room with Orbitz... Orbitz lied about availability. The hotel manager callled me and lied about over booking. Orbitz and the hotel refuses to give me a refund. They are both liars... Orbitz for selling rooms that are not available and rhe hotel manager for not giving a refund.

I like tat the rooms were cleaned and then sticker-sealed.

Convenient, friendly, helpful, and clean. I'll stay here again.

sorry to say that the attitude of customer service representatives on Nov. 11, 2019 night (the day we checked in) was unacceptable and rude. Both the associates were neither polite/helpful nor cooperative. The rooms have bugs and flies. I did report to the front desk associate and took photographs. However, one of the morning associate did apologize, and took remedial steps.

The bathroom was small and the shower ran in the floor due to the curtain running down hill. Did not affect me

Much quieter than last year. Especially, room refrigerator was much quieter. Double shower caddies were very useful. Breakfast was pretty good, coffee available all day. Room was incredibly small, felt like I was in Manhattan. Cooling fan was too loud. No night light in bathroom. Staff was WAY understaffed: check-in took forever, and they had no time to deal with my TV cable... I had to fix it myself 3 times in 3 days. Parking was insufficient. Room clock was off by 2 minutes, and could only be reset by tech staff.

Hotel was clean and staff very friendly. Unfortunately, TV was not working correctly and could not receive lower number channels.

I would have given my stay a 5, but because of the room size and age of the hotel, I gave it a 4. I stayed at this location for three nights to attend a conference. As many have said, the free breakfast was surprisingly quite tasty. The dining area has a fresh look with a variety of seating options and a couple tvs to catch up on the news. Breakfast staff was cheerful and did a great job of ensuring all breakfast items were available. I like hotels that have a restaurant for lunch and dinner, but this one does not. However, there are several places to eat nearby. The small room with a king sized bed offered everything I needed for my stay except a chair to relax in. It is my understanding the most of the rooms are the same size. Although the building itself is a bit old, they do a good job of keeping rooms clean. The bathroom was clean with updated tub, toilet and sink. I can be a bit of a germaphobe. So, I enjoyed the curved shower curtain which kept the clean shower curtain from touching me. :-) The location was convenient with plenty of free parking. Ask for a room facing the back if city traffic bothers you. However, the best thing about my stay was the manager. He was exceptionally kind in ensuring that I had a great stay. He remembered me from day to day and thanked me for staying with them when I left. It's comforting to know that there are people who understand the value of excellent customer service. I will stay there again in the future.

Width of parking spaces is so narrow even our compact car was packed in. Hotel has a 'no trucks' section but does not enforce the restriction. It was intimidating trying to park our car in the 'No Trucks' section between a big ford Super Duty F350 pickup & commercial van. Large loud family group taking up 2 rooms next door to our room. A lot of commotion with adults carrying on & kids screaming & running between rooms. Despite complaints from us & other guests on that floor staff was not able to quiet them down until midnight. Gave us another room by 11:45 but was lacking the bed arrangement of our original reservation.

Nice choice of pillows. Room was a little stuffy. Could be brighter in there. Staff was very nice and helpful. I liked the fitness room. I wish they had a bench in there because then you could do more exercises.

The toilet stop working properly. I was offered a plunger for my inconvience

Great corner room! Cozy! Excellent internet! Fantastic location!

Bed and pillows were comfy. Great nite stay. Good selection for breakfast.

Stayed at this location while moving our daughter in to Johns Hopkins. Location is very nice with easy route to the university (about 15min)

A ton of us staid here the night of my wedding. Hotel staff was great and hotel was clean. Excellent Breakfast!!!

The hotel's location was fine, but the room with a king size bed was small. It made for tight moving about in the room. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The Holiday Inn Express at Hunt Valley is perfect for business travelers in the area. Very clean, great location and the breakfast is great!

I had to book a hotel at the last minute, so I went to the hotel's site and saw that it was $144, then went to this site and since it was the same price at this site, I booked it using the bonus dollars I got from this site. Just as soon as I booked, I got an email from the hotel offering the same room at $109. Since I had already prepaid, I could not get the lower rate. It was irritating and left a bad taste. This experience probably results in this hotel getting a lower review that I might have otherwise given it. The staff at the hotel were wonderful and listened to my complaints cheerfully.
