I had a very early medical appointment at Ft. Meade so I spent the night at this hotel to ensure that I would get to my 6:15 am surgery appointment on time. This hotel was about 15 minutes from the gates of Ft. Meade so it made things very convenient. The rooms were very nice, and there is plenty of parking. The quality of the hotel and friendliness/efficiency of the staff were consistent with the level I have come to expect from Hilton properties.

Good amenities and location. Reasonable price. Loved the free breakfast, free Internet, and afternoon snacks of cookies and fruit. Room was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Intro: I am trying a lot of hotels in the Beltsville - Laurel area because I work here several days a week and am trying to find "the" place. See my other hotel and restaurant reviews. Hard to find. Set back off main road. Turn as if going to Fairfield Inn. Ample parking. Staff was friendly, and very helpful finding me a quieter room. Reserved a suite but it was beside the elevator so moved to regular king. Hotel kindly refunded some of the original charge. Rooms are depressing. Brown, bland and sparse. Furniture was obviously cheap poor quality, but bed was comfortable. I carry disinfectant wipes and wipe down every room. Good thing because light switches and adjacent wall and door frame were dirty. Don't want to think about what the "dirt" was. Breakfast was good, better than Holiday Inn Express and less than Fairfield Inn. Newspapers were provided. Gym was functional and clean. Other guests were other business people.

This is my new go to hotel when during the week. It is in a convenient location not far from many places to eat or enjoy some entertainment. The staff is always pleasant and if you stay more than once they recognize you on your return visit. Any issues I have had was taken care of immediately.

All the staff I encountered were great, especially Eric. I really appreciated his recommendations on where to good for dinner. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was difficult to find, but in a good location to things once you did.

The Pros: room was very clean and no sign of bed bugs, lighting in room was good. The Cons: where do I begin..... little things: slow WiFi, hotel is hard to find hidden tiny road/no sign from main road, noisy cooling/heater unit kicking on constantly. The big things: hard bed and useless, unknowledgeable staff. issues w/staff: had 2 nights reserved under separate reservations due to adding one because of weather. said on the phone this was no problem. I checked in for 1st night and she had no idea about that 2nd night thing added. I had to switch rooms due to an issue & apparently she never noted this because when I checked next morning that staff member said the computer said I was still in the 1st room, so if I hadn’t checked my stuff probably would’ve been cleared out when I returned at end of day. He said no problem he’ll take care of it. I came back that night and was locked out of my room. They didn’t take care of it/had to redo the check in process. Then I notice an overcharge on my credit card so I went to discuss that, the desk person just tried to talk over me the whole time, treated me like I haven’t stayed in a hotel before. She said it’ll fall off there when I check out. It didn’t the next morning. Instead when I checked out, they said I owed additional money even when I could prove it was already paid on my card and said I have to discuss with manager when this is their issue and my time. Horrible staff, can’t comprehend basic issues.

I enjoy visiting local properties for short getaways and this location did not disappoint. I felt welcomed from he beginning to the end. The breakfast selection was great. I will definitely keep this location near the top of my getaway list.

Good value for the money. We normally stay here when in the area. Recommend checking this hotel out for yourselves. We will use this property again. The hotel staff is always so friendly and nice - a delight.

We booked this for Thanksgiving with family. Upon our arrival, we were shown a notice that the hotel had decided to give the housekeeping staff Thanksgiving off, and that we would have no service! If we needed towels, etc., for the next day, we could come to the desk and they would "try to accommodate us." There was no advance notice. We had no bedmaking, no trash removal, etc. during our stay. People complained to us that they were unable to use the gym until after Thanksgiving, it was locked. The hotel was very noisy; the walls are quite thin, and the furniture (although new and clean), bangs whenever a door or drawer is closed. Barking dogs were allowed to continue unaddressed, and children ran screaming up and down the hall of our floor. We were charged the same amount for this room as if we had had services. When my husband attempted to address this at checkout, he was told that the manager would not be available until Monday, and that nothing could be done at the time. I addressed this repeatedly on Twitter to both Hilton Hotels and Hilton Honours--no response to any tweets, despite others being answered. This was not the only Hilton property to have done this on the holiday. I advise potential customers to check the messages about Hilton properties and chains over the holiday; there were many "problems." If I wanted to do my own housekeeping, I would stay at a hostel. Housekeeping is a basic service of a hotel, not a luxury. I suspect this is a "trial balloon," to decrease services incrementally, as the airlines did, and to see if people are willing to pay the same for less service. NOT THIS FAMILY and our businesses. We are taking our business to Marriott or Hyatt after this. We travel frequently, and this was an awful experience. Or perhaps, these "days off" were work stoppages, and Hilton is trying to cover that by calling them planned? Regardless, you don't pay for a decent hotel to find you must do the same housework you do at home. Addendum: I worked in EMS all my life. I have worked holidays many times, and would love to see everyone be able to stay home. This is unrealistic, the same as it was in my job.

The hotel was nice. The rooms were a little dusty. The stay was ok. There weren’t employees there who spoke English and could understand what you were asking. Nice area where hotel was located. Overall I would give this hotel an 3.
