My only real issue was the elevator was broken / over heated. Had to carry new born baby and stroller and all luggage up to third floor after midnight. We had just drove 6 hours in the rain and through D.C. traffic. Pretty upset about it.

We stayed from June 11 to June 15, at a rate of $141.55. When we made the reservation, we were told that we could request a roll away bed for our daughter, who was due to arrive on June 14. On June 13, I was told that there were no roll away beds available. We ended up reserving another room. They wanted to charge us $199. Finally, the manager at the time, Les Morrison, gave us what he called his final offer, $159. We explained that, had we known this, we would have reserved a roll away bed since June 11, even if we did not need it, at a total cost of $40, instead of paying for another room. The story changed later when we were told that roll away beds would not have been allowed in our particular room, with two double beds, because it would have been a fire hazard. Considering that we are Hilton Honor members, we felt that we should have been given the courtesy of paying for the extra room at the rate of the other. When we called Hilton Honors they explained that they only act upon the quality of a room. They told us that they would talk to whoever made the reservation to make sure that this person understands that he cannot promise a roll away bed. They also gave us 15,000 points. Our concern is the lack of appreciation for the client. Considering that there had been a misunderstanding caused by the reservation agent, they should have protected our interests and not charge us a higher price for the second room. We were told that we would pay $10 for the extra bed, but because of the situation we ended up paying for another room, at a cost of $159 plus tax. The other managers we saw during our stay were quite friendly and helpful. This one was definitely confrontational. We do not intend to stay at this hotel in the future.

After along day of driving it was wonderful to find this excellent Hilton property. Very good parking, clean lobby, friendly intelligent reception staff, very comfortable room. Wifi was free and very fast. Breakfast was superb with many choices. Checkout was effortless.

The Hampton Inn is a reliable brand. The facility and room were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was quiet, bed was comfortable and we were able to get a good night's rest. Would definitely recommend and stay there again if we were in the area.

Excellent location - walking distance to all services - Pleasant, professional staff. Good breakfast with wide range of choices - great coffee! Outstanding cookies to satisfy that sweet tooth! Easy access to all main area routes.

Day shift seemed preoccupied with whatever. Tables in eating area needed wiping down. Went out for breakfast unfortunately since time was limited and attending a funeral. Area good and room nice. Liketo have been acknowledged of Gold status and added vLue available

we used this as a stop over for one night, check-in was easy and friendly. Room was amazing, modern and very clean. The beds were really comfy with microwave and mini fridge. Bathroom was roomy and plenty of supplies. The breakfast area was clean and the selection to eat was very nice. We did not use the gym, but glanced in to see it was fully equipped. Would stay here again in a minute. The only thing I can suggest is better signage on the main road, we missed the turn at first.

Traveling from south of Washington DC to Boston and needing to arrive by late afternoon, we opted to find a hotel north of DC to avoid the ubiquitous commuting nightmare on Monday morning. It worked beautifully by staying at this Hampton Inn at very reasonable prices (late April) and avoiding the DC beltway. Hotel was clean with the amenities we've come to expect in Hamptons. Breakfast was quite complete with waffles, eggs, sausages, bagel bake, western omelets, and all the cereals and breads and yoghurts. There are no restaurants within walking distance. The rooms had the latest wall thermostatic control but while the A/C condenser noise is better than other Hamptons, it is still loud. I don't know why these hotels can't utilize the new "split" units, like Mitsubishi makes, located outside and just let the vents break through the wall to dampen the noise. The toilet is the new vacuum system - noisy in the middle of the night. This unit also let out a loud squeal at the very end of the flush cycle which I reported to the management the next morning - annoying. They seemed surprised which meant either that the previous occupants didn't report it, or they did and management didn't, or couldn't, fix it. Not immediately at a I-95 exit, but close enough to get on the highway quickly the next morning.

Nicer older property with great desk staff who goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Dinner recommendations were very well received with our party. Thank you for making me feel at home while I was in Laurel for the night.

Greet staff and cleanliness at its best. Complimenary breakfast was great. I was greeted with a smile. Lobby and computer center were really cozy and beautifully designed. Gym was well equipped. Felt like home.
