Very quick check in, friendly staff. The rooms are recently renovated - clean and comfortable. The bathroom is excellent. One suggestion, I had some work to do and the desk could have done with a desk lamp.

There was no wi fi coverage in the room. The toilet plumbing made a weird noise thru the night until we turned the water off. The dead tree by our car park had long grass and litter beside it.

Remodelled rooms, spacious, well thought out. Beds comfy, close to everything needed for a short stay in Takapuna. Kitchenette with toaster, kettle, fridge. Will stay again on my next trip. Don’t be fooled by the exterior.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It had everything you could possibly need and was easily walkable to restaurants and activities. Definitely on our list to stay the next time we’re in the area!

I have stayed here before in another room which was excellent. The room for this stay was not great for older people. Had to wash dishes in the bathroom.Floor was wet area and I thought dangerous.Thefloor took a long time to dry. I would only stay here again if I booked the right room.

The facility is undergoing major works (two storey addition, with scaffolding). My room (ground floor) was nicely renovated, the kitchette was odd - cups and plates at floor level on shelf (I literally resorted to a bowl for my Uber eats as I could not get to the undelying plates), and little bench space. Had to rinse my dishes in the bathroom basin. Wifi was very poor strenght.

Modern room in good location

Good room, off street parking, modern facilities. Old window joinery so little noisy st times but generally a quiet location. Supermarket an easy walk. Construction in half of site but not an issue
