Room was in need of some serious maintenance, curtains hanging off the rails, cabinets broken, tv not working, remote not working, usb charging points on lamp not working, fridge propped up on a coffee sachet packet, glasses with finger prints & lipstick on them. I loved the location and the price was perfect for what we got. However, there was a big white mark (size of a dinner plate) on carpet which I was easily able to remove with some of my shoe so it can’t have been cleaned. Tv was way too small for the size of the room and we couldn’t get basic TVNZ channels! Bed very uncomfortable as it was two singles pushed together which separated during the night making it very uncomfortable. Was only a quarter of a roll of toilet paper when we arrived and I had to go and ask for more. Very noisy and street lights shone through the drapes very brightly.

The personal staff service whether front office, cleaning or kitchen staff was excellent. Room clean and tidy but curtains did not meet in the middle had a gap of about 6 inches. Quite quaint really. No compendium so had to ask desk where iron was. 6th floor laundry.

Ok for price. Again issues from housekeeping not noticing reporting issues. Last visit the bed was soaking wet, thid time wrong remote in room for tv. Also heating, heat pump had error code. Guy at reception didnt know didnt offer another form of heat. Next day i had to go reception again, this time lady sais all heat pumps not used and offered a portable heater. Simple thing for a hotel is put a sign in each room saying heatpumps are deliberately off and to ask for a heater or a fan . Simple things to not annoy guests. Also took ages to get hot water in shower and sink
