A convenient place to stay close to where we needed to be in Auckland. Reasonable value and a comfy bed. Disappointed that other car parking options weren't given at check-in - told parking in hotel carpark would be $20 / night, but with limited parking spaces the second night we were directed to an overflow parking over the road that charged half the cost at $10 for 24 hours.

Quite nice. Friendly staff. Room very small but clean and tidy. Buffet food deal offered on Saturday jight was very average. The beef dishes were extremely tough and rubbery. . A good selection of deserts which were lovely. Overpriced.

The hotel felt secure and stylish, in our room the bed and linen was really comfortable and good quality. The gym facilities were easy to access and freely available and had a great running machine and a lot of other equipment. The buffet breakfast had a great selection of quality hot and cold dishes. Not too busy on a week day.

Overall the Ibis Ellerslie was great and we would stay there again. The highlight was the amazing gym facilities. The restaurant food was ok. Vending machine and sky channels were appreciated. The only things that let the stay down was that we werent given hand towels and the rooms are super tiny as in there is room for 1 person to walk around the bed and thats it.

The rooms were basic but clean. The staff at this hotel however are a 5/5 - I was absolutely taken aback at how friendly and courteous they were. Professional fast service and just lovely to interact with. I travel for work all the time and the staff here stood out as exceptional.

Simple and convenient with helpful staff

Hotel was basic and clean - in line with expectations. Condition of room was ok. No sleep timer accessible on TV. Staff were polite and helpful. Limited parking when hotels are busy made it difficult to park in the evening. Breakfast has a good offering. Convenient location by the motorway to head north and south.

Staff were friendly and polite, rooms are basic with a weird shower door setup that will get water everywhere in bathroom. Outside wee noisy roadworks late into the evening - including jack hammers. Purchased a carpark but when got back that evening there was no space so they refunded me and i instead paid to park down the road and walked back- not ideal.

We didn't like the small room. We had a king size bed. The room was very small. The jug was in the wardrobe. The shower and toilet where in like a small plastic bathroom. Had to pay $20 Xtra for the parking but the second night their where no parks so had to park our car somewhere else. Bed was comfortable.
