This Hotel will not disappoint even the most fussy guest! Clean, friendly desk clerks await you and greet you with cheerful and prompt service. Real People, without the pretentious nonsense. I have an emotional support dog, a Yorkie. They were most welcoming and gave me no problems or lectures. They trusted me as an adult that I would ensure the room would be as I found it. The room was great, the bed clean and comfortable. Great sleep, and I seldom do. Large mini fridge. Clean and modern bathroom, large enough and a fine shower. No noisy hallways. Great breakfast spread in the morning. When we returned home we realized we forgot our down $200 pillows. I called the hotel, they are sending them to us, at no charge! Now that is what I call above and beyond excellent service. Hampton Inn Asheville will ALWAYS have my business, or pleasure for a Western NC getaway!
than you for making hurricane evacuees comfortable and welcome!! The breakfast was always good and everyone went out of their way to be helpful and caring. We loved the visit to the beautiful mountains.
We were evacuating due to Hurricane Irma. Staff was GREAT and Hampton was very gracious with reservations!!! We always stay at Hilton/Hampton and will continue to. My wife and I both work remotely and needed good quality internet. We were happy to pay for the premium access but it was spotty at best and certainly not "premium". Staff and tech support were nice and tried but still never solved satusfactorily.
On our way to visiting friends, we took a detour to Asheville to see the Biltmore. Estates and picked this hotel for our one night stay. It was easy access to route 40, quick check in, clean, and quiet. A bonus, the on site restaurant amazing!
Although we stayed during an unusually busy time for this hotel, (evacuees from Hurricane Irma had almost completely filled the rooms), we found the staff to be gracious, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was well presented and delicious. The beds comfy and the rooms clean and pleasant.
Nice hotel. Has good amenities such full hot breakfast that lasts until 10 am, 5 ft deep pool, hot tub, good weight room and outside fire pit in the evening. Beds are like tucking into a cloud. Close to a large selection of restaurants and shopping. Best part was the people. While traveling, husband landed in the hospital. Not wanting to be far from the hospital on discharge or make the two day trip home over a holiday weekend, I brought him back to the hotel. I/we were there in total for a week. Provided a shuttle to the hospital. Found a room for our daughter on a busy weekend when she flew in from California. One maid in particular - Debbie, worked around my spouse needing to stay in bed to clean the room and tracked me down when I left objects in the room after checking out. She checked in daily on his well being even on days we passed on housekeeping. Debbie was outstanding and caring.
Hurricane Irma kept my friends at home, rather than meeting for a fun weekend in Asheville. I sought relief for Advance Purchase rooms and was initially assured that would be forthcoming - then was advised it would not. Then it would. Then it would not. I urged the hotel to book the rooms to others - not sure what occurred. Have had a confusing run-around among the hotel and various corporate offices ever since. I think the hotel is trying to help us ... Hope to stay there some day.
On our visit to Biltmore we decided to save a few dollars and stay off of the estate property. Our stay at this Hampton Inn was excellent. Very clean and well managed. The breakfast had a good selection and the staff was very helpful?
We stayed at the Hampton when we had to leave South Carolina because of the hurricane. Your staff was so very attentive to us. You could not ask for any better service than we got. Brittlee and Tosha the breakfast help was very attentive and so eager to help. I have traveled a lot and have been where you are eating breakfast and it is close to the time for them to close down and they hurry you out. Not these two they talked and went above and beyond to make us comfortable able. They told us you are a team, and that said a lot, they would not take the glory for themselves. Your front desk people and housekeeping were just great. we had to change rooms and they moved our stuff for us. We were told that they would get a $100.00 bonus on there checks if we wrote a review so I think that tells a lot about Hampton. Customer service is what it about. I hope everyone can get a bonus:: Thank You Shirley S.
I commend Debbie in housekeeping who found two articles of my clothing and took necessary steps to mail them to me in NYC. I also commend the front office on duty Aug 31 when I called to report this loss. I highly recommend this hotel for cleanliness and hospitality.
