We had a great visit to the Asheville area. This was one of the best stays I've had at a hotel- all because of the people that work here! Nice hot breakfast (love the waffles). I did do something stupid, though. Dropped the lid on the waffle iron and splattered myself with waffle batter. Of course it made a loud bang, and Jay from the front desk came running to check to make sure I was okay! Just completely embarrassed by the mess I had made of myself. 😆 He was so kind and made sure I was okay. (We had a good laugh a few days later when I informed him I was running out of clothes because I had also spilled coffee the next day on my outfit!) The housekeeping was incredible! (See photo). Our housekeeper left little notes for us and made cute animals and various other things out of the towels and washcloths. Each interaction with all the employees was such a positive experience. They all took time to greet you, talk with you, and always ended with the offer to assist if anything else was needed to make the stay better-from the hotel engineer changing out the lighting in the pool area, to the young man putting out the chair cushions early in the morning around the beautiful outdoor sitting area! I really felt like a valued customer. Thank you Hampton Inn for such a lovely visit. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel is clean, the staff friendly, our room was clean and comfortable, and we loved riding in the shuttle to and from downtown Asheville. Each driver made us feel welcome and shared many points of interest with us.

Wonderful hotel! Great staff. Shuttle to downtown and driver was very helpful. Late night in Asheville , so we walked back, about 1.5 miles. Hotel is in a beautiful quiet location up above a busy road. Loved it!

The hotel was nicely located, at the top of a hill and about 10 minutes to downtown and the entrance to the Biltmore Estate which was a destination. The hotel gave us a three page list of restaurants with good recommendations. We would be comfortable staying there again.

Spent two nights here last weekend. Good location, only 5 minutes to town. Hotel offers a complimentary shuttle until 9:30 and town is only about a $7 Uber ride back. Room was fine, except for it's location on the 2nd floor overlooking the indoor pool and underneath some type of awning that blocked any view of outside. It felt like a dark, windowless room. Definitely make sure you're not in one of those rooms unless all you want to do is sleep all day. Elevator was small and slow so we took the stairs mostly. Breakfast was your standard included hotel fare, which was average. On Sunday morning, breakfast ended at 10, at which time the dining area and lobby seating were completely full. It did not appear to be any large groups. It seems to me that on a Sunday morning, the guests are telling you that they want breakfast to last a little longer. Perhaps it would be less crowded and easier to find a table if they extended the breakfast hours. Not a bad stay but paid $517 for two nights. Expected a little better. Staff was all great!

My family and I have enjoyed our stay in Asheville and Hampton Inn has done a great job with hosting us. This morning (07/18/17), we went to breakfast and we were greeted by one of the sweetest employees, Tosha. She was so kind and went out of her way to make sure we had a great breakfast. Thanks, Tosha and Hampton Inn! :)

If you're looking to be downtown, they offer a shuttle on demand until 9:30pm. The staff also has great food and drink recommendations. Rooms were nice and clean and the hotel lobby is updated. Definitely suggest it

I don't usually write reviews on hotel stays but then again I don't usually get this sort of treatment. It was our first time in Asheville and really wanted to check out the city from a local's POV. Upon arrival to the hotel, I asked the front desk for suggestions and he did more than deliver. He pointed out a ton of local hangouts, food, sights and fun things to do. We hit almost all of Mr Black's suggestions and we were not disappointed in the least. I wish I could remember his first name because I feel like this guy made our trip. Without his suggestions we would have never been able to stumble upon some of coolest hidden gems in Asheville on our own. Each restaurant was so delicious. Each bar was filled with friendly, eclectic patrons. Every place he told us to check out filled our phones with incredible pics. Our conversation with Mr Black was as short as our stay but we will be back and we will be asking for Mr Black again. I HIGHLY suggest you do the same.

Before sharing I checked the hotel website to see if there was an email contact. But, alas there was not. This hotel had some real highs- truly some of the friendliest staff I've encountered; with the manager greeting people at breakfast. Breakfast was one of the better complimentary buffets I've had. Not really a fan of indoor pools but, this one was really nice with a jacuzzi and floor to ceiling windows. The beds were fantastic! Now the bad and the reason for the 1 rating- in a word cleanliness. Both the sink area and shower were shiny and spotless. But, the textured floor from the bath door to commode had caked upon dirt and grime. It seriously appeared to never have been cleaned. The same can be said for the back of the bathroom door and the base board on that side. Baseboard on the other side was perfect! Yes, I could have complained and had plenty of opportunity but, candidly I had been to the dr 2 days before my trip with a sinus infection and just didn't want to deal with it so just wore my sandals the whole time. Lastly, one other thing that just truly irked me. I chose this hotel over the Double Tree because of the views this hotel has. When checking in the clerk assigned us to a room that faced directly into the portico- the worst room in the house. I asked for another room. Seriously, I'm not one of those "gold" members that asks much. If offered an upgrade great, if not no biggy. But, seriously- you're going to give me the worst room in the place? I was so annoyed by my experience here that I stayed at another chain during the remainder of my vacation.

I was here with my family for 3 nights. This hotel is very easy to get to / from on day trips. Many restaurants & a mall in the area. Would totally stay here again! All staff was very helpful & nice!!
