I stayed in a two room suite on the first floor. Room had strong smell as if no one lived in that room for a long long time. The carpet did not seem to be very clean. Sofa bed was not clean to the touch. Bathroom door would not close properly. Lobby areas were fairly clean. Staff were cordial. Breakfast lady was very nice. In and around the property was clean and pleasent.

This is an excellent place to stay in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area. The grounds are lovely and the building is maintained nicely. The pool/hot tub area is tranquil and relaxing, and the gaming area (pool table, foosball table and shuffleboard table) is a fun way to pass the time. The rooms are well kept and comfortable, ours had a jetted garden tub that was a great way to end the day. The breakfast buffet offered a nice selection of hot and cold items. The staff was super friendly and professional, with the front desk people going above and beyond to assist me in printing some documents. We highly recommend this property.

Good stay

I had a good experience. I stayed for only one night. The bed was confortable. The room does not smell "fresh", likely due to a carpet issue. The TV worked and the desk had 2 bottles of water ($1 per bottle if you chose to drink the water). The bathtub area has bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and soap available to use, but I believe the conditioner bottle actually had shampoo in it (lots of bubbles formed in my hair). Good thing I brought my own conditioner. The toilet paper's volume does not match the space available for you to pull the paper. So I use the spare one available in the bathroom. The hotel has a pool and hot tub, as well as places to play boardgames and other games.

Hotel was clean and in pretty good shape for an older hotel of this kind. The pull-out bed in my room was broken and missing several springs. Breakfast was free, and just about what you might expect for free. One of the staff members loudly talking about her associates in prison and refering to people as "motherfuckers" before 7am is pretty rough.

The staff is excellent and efficient. There are a couple dining options within walking distance many options for delivery as well, and the area felt safe. The bed was comfortable, the toiletries are eco friendly, and the hotel is easy to navigate. I also enjoyed a spa tub in my room, which was well worth the extra expense after a long day of traveling. The property and grounds as lovely, as well. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay again when I'm traveling in the area.
