This fit our purpose perfectly: we needed some place to stay to break up a long trip. It was right off the highway. It didn't cost an arm and a leg. There was free food in the morning.

However, it is noisy if you have a room towards the busy high way. I would not stay there again unless I get a room to the other side. The hotel itself and service is very nice

Very clean room, nice continental breakfast and it was very convenient to the hospital.

For an overnight stay you can't beat this place. My only problem was finding the place. You have to turn at the Holiday Inn Express and drive by it to get to the Microtel.

Everything was clean and comfortable except for the bathtub. There was a patched hole where you put the soap that was moldy and needed a much better repair job.

We've stayed there twice now and for the price, it's a decent hotel. If you're a light sleeper, you may want to ask for a room facing the parking lot as US 23 is quite close. We had a suite, which was quite roomy with a queen bed which was comfy and a kitchenette area. We would probably stay again.

Came up for football game - bus right next door - room was very clean - staff friendly. Breakfast was limited in selections but adequate.

I needed to stay in Ann Arbor overnight after eye surgery. I wasn't interested in a fancy hotel with a pool, just a clean comfortable place to stay and Microtel was perfect. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, parking was close and convenient and there was a wheel chair available as I was still quite wobbly after surgery. The continental breakfast had everything from hot and cold cereal to waffles and fresh baked danish. Again nothing fancy, but still very nice and perfect for our needs.

Hotel was alright, but walls so thin we could hear the TV from the next room through most of the night (until they turned it off.) I'm not sure they were listening to it very loud, just poor construction and no soundproofing. It was inexpensive and served a purpose, but if I stay in the area again, I'll try another option.

The room was fine. I was expecting a workout room as well. As it turns out I had to drive a mile to another facility to workout. That is not what it said on the site.

We really had a very nice room with a fridge and microwave, but we were not sure it was included as I had read we would be charge $10 extra for using it, so that needs to be made more clear. We had queen beds and they were very comfortable. We would stay here again and recommend to our friends. Thanks for a great stay!

My stay there was pretty ok. I just needed a place to crash for an overnight trip close to U of M campus. Although it's not all that close to campus, it's a pretty straight forward drive and can get you to U of M in about 15 to 20 minutes. The room was ok. The carpet had quite a few stains and the shower was broken. The lever to turn the running water to a shower was broken off ...so the only thing there was just a screw :-/ kinda made getting tidy for my event a little tricky... But ya move on with life. The location felt pretty safe and parking lot was pretty well lit, so that's good. Staff was quite friendly as well. The bed was comfy as well. It's a small room, but doable if you're not staying for several days.

We stayed one night and had no complaints. It was quiet and we were comfortable. Breakfast was a plus.

I was in Chicago and discovered I needed to stay overnight in Ann Arbor for a job the next morning. I decided to give the Microtel a shot, and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was a bit small, but it was perfect for my needs (sleep and go), and I was impressed that it had a decent sized refrigerator. It was clean and comfortable...also convenient to some restaurants. Starbucks is just down the street as well. The price was better than the hotels surrounding the Microtel.

My wife, daughter and grandkids stayed there and loved everything about it. Friendly staff, excellent clean room.

Very accommodating, great breakfast, great staff! Will def stay their again

Rooms were a little smaller than expecting. rooms were clean and comfortable.

I've stayed here twice, and am sure I will stay here again.

This hotel is relatively close to the UM main campus, was clean, and was a good value for the price. Not a bad option for a football weekend.
