I lived it. The room was lovely and modernized for such an old building. Location was perfect downtown in the middle of everything. Only issue, be prepared for some steep winding stairs on upper floors. Staff was very kind and handled the luggage.

A comfortable respite for sure - there was plenty of room for a family of 3 in our room. We had a beautiful view of the canal as well. The staff was helpful with not only things during our stay but for recommendations around the city. The hotel was in a convenient location in Amsterdam. We were able to access all parts of the city with walking (but trams were also readily available with short walks). Would definitely stay here again when traveling to Amsterdam!

Very unique boutique style hotel. As with most places of its age the stairs are very narrow and steep and no elevator but the staff was very helpful with luggage!

Nothing like staying in a 17th century house. Narrow spiral staircase up and my attic room was filled with small steps and low beams. Given those conditions, the effective shower, plumbing, AC, were a pleasant surprise. The property is well taken care of and the staff cooperative.

Lovely clean rooms. Set in a quiet street with lots of eateries within minutes walk. Most of the townhouse style hotels have quite steep steps, so good mobility a must. Would stay again.
