I arrived and checked into my room. The rug was wet with what may have been a cleaner. It smelled horrible. The shower area was a 18" space that even me, very thin, could not fit. I did not have a bed only a cot. The window was slightly open left by house keeping. The door to the common ground was about 12" from the window. I then went out. When i returned all of my possessions had been gone through. The door to the common area was unlocked. My tooth brush in the toilet. My money that i had left was gone. $2000.00. My clothing was rubbed into the cleaner in the carpet rendering it unwearable. My tooth brush was in the toilet and all of my other possessions were destroyed. Even my carrying bags were torn. There is much more, but i am sick from the experience and do not want to reminisce any more. I immediately gathered my possessions and left to find some place else to stay. The front desk did offer me another room but the employee that i had seen in the hallway said that i was in one of the best rooms. I am seeking a full refund for my room,my $2000.00 returned $175.00 for my possessions. Unfortunately I was so upset and traumatized by the experience that all i could think of is getting someplace safe and did not take any pictures.
This hotel is close to everything which is great But honestly this hotel lacked room quality Looks nothing like pictures!!! The room was the biggest problem all else was fine Just outdated !!!!! Wouldn't stay again for that one reason to many hotels to stay in places that don't advertise quality rooms !!!!
The hotel staff were very nice other than that I don't recommend this hotel Room was suffocated with no air flow no A/C towels were dirty no elevator to my floor and the worst part is no noise proof-you could hear everything from the next rooms and the corridor. I would not book this hotel next time.
we didn't stay even the first night, and we arrive at 10:30 pm, imagine how it was!!! terrible! the hotel is not clean, the room was so dirty, the bathroom nasty, the carpet old and dirty also, couldn't stay there. Won't recommend it. don't go.
worst hotel, the room was dirty, we didn't stay there, we arrive at 10:30 pm and it was so dirty and terrible that we left the hotel and went out to look for another one.
The facility is run down and my room had a broken toilet seat and a light that didn't work. The weather was warm and there was no air conditioning so staff braced my window open at street level which made me uncomfortable. The location is great and the staff were competent. I'd stay there again if the price was adjusted downward. Other hotels in the same price range nearby were in better shape. I stayed in two others.
I wouldn't stay here again. I needed a place on short notice to stay overnight, all I wanted was clean and safe and I got not very clean and not very safe. I got 'upgraded' from a twin to a double in the basement, which smelled like mold and the walls were dirty and banged up like a party happened in there or its just been ignored for years. At lower than street level there was no light, the shower didn't look clean enough so I didn't use it, and it was freezing with no space heater. I got no help lugging my bags downstairs and the elevator didn't go to that level. Im sure they werent sold out on a sunday night in march, but still I was pretty much ignored by the staff.
Dark, poorly lit room half in the basement that needed a space heater to avoid freezing. Unspecified possible shower gel in wall dispenser instead of separate shampoo. One of the worst breakfasts possible for 10 euros. should be classified a 2 star hotel. for a 2 star it would rate " ok". They also charged an extra 10 euros on top of this site but this was not specified in this travel site. On plus side the room was clean. Easy walk to museums.
Location wasn't worth it for this not so nice hotel room.....rooms are super mini and don't let the flatscreen sell you not many English channels...place was dirty no room service they never made our beds shower curtain was gross and we got stuck in the "garden area" aka the basement with narrow stairs to hump luggage up and down (no elevator to "garden area) Would strongly not recommend I'm 25 and my girlfriend 22 we are not high maintenance by any means and this place sucked!!!!
Good location, one block off the #1 tram. Good room for rate vs. other local options. Convenient access from and to Central Station for train to airport.
