Be aware of city tax.

I booked the property for 4 persons and was made to pay city tax for all for the whole stay. Though we had 4 people half of the stay. Not fair.

The windows do not open. We felt this was a fire hazard, so we could not stay in the apartment. We had to rent another hotel and pay double the price.

Pain from the start!

From the start it was a pain. The online phone keyless entry didn't work, I had to travel 20 min away to get a physical key card because they didn't have a checkin desk the our location. There was a smoker on our floor (supposed to be smoke free) when I complained they said they would send security to check it out but we still had smoke coming into our place the whole time. The place is in a black hole for public transportation if you want to use anything other than Uber. We had fire alarm go off while we were there and it was on for over an hour. There was no way of communicating with the office to get it shut off. Granted that may have been a fluke but still there is no clear way of getting any help if there is an issue. The only pros were the size of the apartment. It was modern, clean and had a full kitchen. But to me that didn't make it worth it for the other pain points.

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! We were not put into the room that we booked, we put in the basement room. I planned on sleeping on the large corner couch and my brother slept in the bed, not the case, I eneded up sleeping on a little 2 seater. There was no spare anything apart from dishware and the likes, oh wait we were blessed to get a second roll of toilet paper. The fridge was not working correctly and some service men called with a new one, which should of been when we were not there. The TV worked but most stations were in Dutch and the reception was breaking up, thank god I had my Roku stick with us. The bathroom had ancient sockets that were in the bathroom that were concerningly close too the shower. The bed has stains. The Immersion did not work properly and yet again the service men called in. No Toaster!.

Great apartment in a good location

For a group of friends who spent very little time in the apartment it was a great base! On the whole it was clean if a little tired decor in places and in a good location, 10 minutes from the main areas. The lift was not working and the stairs were extremely steep which was a challenge with luggage (and late at night!), getting up 3 flights of stairs. The apartment was enormous, a little strange layout with 3 floors (one completely empty), and huge rooms with just a bed in them. It felt strange to have to use a sofa bed when there was extra bedrooms and extra space in them, it would have been better to have the living space as just that and not one of the bedrooms. We had to put away one of the beds each time we sat together and had nowhere to hang clothes up and get dressed etc. for one of our party

Overall unit is fine but ...

Unit itself is fine but there are some area of concerns for us. Cons : 1. Lift is not working throughout our whole stay. We have to carry our big luggage up 2 steep, narrow and long flight of stairs. If there are elderly and the lift is not working then this unit will be a real concern 2. Sound proofing is not good, we are woken up quite a few time by the noise upstairs 3. At night, there will be people sitting on the stairs smoking cannibis, we always make it a point not to go back too late at night. 4. Windows cannot to open at all. No fresh air coming into the unit. Pros: 1. Unit size is great 2. Unit interior condition quite well kept and clean 3. Great water pressure 4. Location is good.

This property was amazing. Gives you the basic bits you need like a continental set- bath towels and cloths, washing up liquid so that’s save money and luggage space. Constant communication which was amazing even calling the day before to see where I would prefer key pick up. Luggage hold area. Friendly staff. Place was nice, clean and spacious. Everything was there you need. Washing machine, cooker etc. One bad point was no cooking trays

This was my first trip to Amsterdam and to Europe. The location of this Apartment was absolutely the best thing about staying here. It was within a 10-15 minute walk from Cenraal Station. It was easy to walk from the apartment into the center of town, the red light district, and many o the tourist destinations. This is an apartment building that winds down and back into loft apartments toward the back of the building. There are multiple unites on multiple floors and you must pay close attention to the signs in order to find the correct apartment that you have rented. The building has a coded entry system which is helpful. The apartment that I had was a key entry apartment which meant that I had to carry around keys and make sure that I kept up with them rather than a card or a code. I was upgraded to a larger space than I originally booked, which was appreciated. Although it made the location of my apartment much deeper into the building and that made it more difficult to find when I arrived and on late nights. It also meant that there were quite a few stairs. Also, there was a courtyard between the building and the loft apartments in the back, the doors from the courtyard were never closed which meant that there were leaved inside both of the corridors and, those corridors remained very cold all the time. It was uncomfortable to be in those corridors. Overall, I would book this location again, within the larger building and not in the stand alone lofts in the back.
I had use of a fully functioning kitchen with all of the needed supplies to make and serve meals.
I had a small workspace that was large enough for a laptop and my other electronics to charge.
I had a large bed that was comfortable as well as the use of a small wardrobe that also contained a safe for my personal belongings.
I had a small sitting area with two chairs.
