As we booked through Orbitz, when the Hilton found they had overbooked their hotel, they kept the direct customers and moved the indirect customers (like we who booked through Orbitz) to another hotel. This process took up the first couple of hours we were in Amsterdam. Plus, after one night, we were without a place to wait between hotels. The Hilton offered to store our carryons, but forgot where and we had to scour the storage rooms until we found them.

Great location. Away from the busy tourist area yet close enough to walk there. Very pleasant grounds for dining and hanging out in the garden area.

Ripped me off. Could only bid one room at a time. Jacked up the rates for the second room.

Needs an upgrade. Needs more amenities. For example, a fitness center that does not close at 4:00 pm. A pool which they do not have or jacuzzi.

We throughly enjoyed our short stay and would stay there again next we venture to Amsterdam. It was clean, comfortable and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We loved the Hilton Amsterdam. Plus, this is wher John Lennon stayed. What more could you ask for.

Amazing hotel. Everything was perfect. Joining the rewards program is a great idea. The area around the hotel is beautiful and everywhere is very accessible by tram or walking. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. The view is incredible of the canals and downtown. Book your next stay here for business or holiday.

Leant us umbrellas when rain forecast. Helpfu staff

Receptionists were very kind and friendly. The room is spacious with spectacular view from the window. The breakfast was excellent and service 5 stars. I'm planning to visit again.

Went to Amsterdam for vacation and stayed for 7 days. The hotel staff was very rude. The door staff was more interested in tips than helping people. The desk staff was the worst I have ever seen. Cleaning and hotel was good.

I recommend everybody executive lodge addition for their booking. Definitely worth every penny.

It's a great place to stay for a night or so. If I'm visiting Amsterdam for more than two days, I'll find a hotel closer to downtown. But it's a great hotel that was good enough for John and Yoko, so who am I to complain?

I stayed for two night. Everything was very nice except its location. The hotel's location is not bad, but I would stay in hotels closer to the city center next time.

The hotel is great and good value for money. The sataff is customer oriented and very helpful. The location is great in a quiet zone but a bit far from the old city. However, the hotel rents bikes which makes getting everywhere easy and enjoyable. Internet is free of charge at the lobby but the in-room service at $25/day is outrageous compared to other hotels. The gym is nice but again the daily fee is to high. The restaurant menu and price is affordable for good service and food. I would stay again in my next trip to Amsterdam.

The location is great and the Staff very professional and polite. We recommend this hotel.

Beautiful view of the river...quiet atmosphere and great to have coffee at the lobby with a view to the river.

Too bad to spoil a good stay by charging 25 Euros a day for WiFi I know you think you can gouge business travelers with these charges but pleasure travelers find them a particular irritation. Especially when your sister properties like Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton Inn don't charge at all.

the hotel was more like a 4 star hilton. and located away from all the busyness from the city. so nice and quiet at night. the mattress to our bed was pretty hard but then again i just got a standard room.
