Visiting for a few days with my kids. The area was quiet and friendly. It almost felt like living there. Just a 5 minute walk from Rijksmuseum. Very comfortable, safe, lovely balcony. 5 minute walk to Heijn, the grocery so we could pick up things to drink. 8 minute walk, max to PC Hoofstraat with upscale shopping. Convenient, family friendly and safe for families. There is a small playground just in front of the apartment that the kids loved. Will definitely return. Host was prompt and easy to contact.
The CityDen Museum Square apartments are located in a quiet area of Amsterdam very convenient to several street car lines and the bus to the airport but not in a noisy section of town. Our apartment was nice with a small kitchen area, a pull down bed and a bed in the basement. It was unusually warm during our stay and the a/c worked well. Amsterdam is a pretty compact city and from the apartment you can easily walk in to the center of town or take the train. There are a number of restaurants within 10 minutes of the apartment. Our welcome was cordial and timely. Check out was as easy as leaving the key and shutting the door.
Nice, quiet, safe area. Convenient to the tram lines (#16), the Museumplein, and close to Albert Heijn (Dutch grocery store chain) if you plan to do some cooking in the flat. Typical Dutch-style flat/apartment setup. Kitchen is fully stocked. Sonny, the guest services manager that met us on arrival, is super nice and made us feel very welcome. Check in/check out was a breeze. I was impressed with the pre-arrival emails that I received a week prior to check-in confirming trip plans and arrival details.
