It was very convenient to the Interstate ... it was safe and clean ... The front desk was friendly and couteous!
This hotel has improved since the last time we stayed here, or at least our room on the first floor was. It's your typical Super 8. It was good for an overnight stop, but perhaps a little over priced, maybe because of it's convenientlocation. Our room furnishings were clean, bed was comfortable, bath and shower good, toilet ok. The carpet was just barely ok, but then again, all you do is walk on it. I'll consider staying here again.

There was nothing to like at this property. I arrived there approximately 9 pm. The lady told me I don't have a reservation. I showed her the confirmation from Orbitz. She still denied that I have a reservation, even though the money had been deducted from my bank by Orbitz. I had to go and find another hotel to spend the night. I am still trying to get a refund.
We've stayed here several times and this review is a compilation of them. Despite the overall condition of this property, I still give it a marginal ok. Your first impression will not be a good one, but it gets a little better after a friendly check-in at the front desk. The hallways are smelly and look and are worn, but the rooms we've stayed didn't smell, are in a little better shape, and generally clean. Everything about this hotel needs an overhaul, but again, the rooms are comfortable. The area surrounding this place looks run down and it's close to a truck stop, but we've never had a problem. Access back onto I-40 or onto Hwy 335 is easy. We'll probably stay here again because of the convenience and dirt cheap price. If you demand a totally sharp, new appearance, squeaky clean rooms, and the sent of a fresh forest, you will not like it here.

I'll first say I had a wonderful experience with the owner of this hotel. The date I had booked was in error and was the previous night. The owner said as we discovered the problem, "I have a room for you." "It is an honest mistake." So my wife and I slept in comfort after a long day's drive. It could have been a nightmare, having to pay for or find another room. I thought this was very nice of the owner. This is your typical Super8, good for an overnight stay. The room was clean and everything worked, thus the good rating.
Minutes from good restaurants and bars. 30 minutes from Palo Duro Canyon Park
The motel is worn; air conditioner was loud and quit working; stains on the carpet; plaster repairs in bath that were not completed; person in lobby upon check-in swatting flies with a fly swatter; room was non-smoking but the entire hallway smelled of smoke, as well as our room.
Well maintained, clean, well worth the price. We found the room to be clean and comfortable. Will definitely consider staying there again the next time we head for Colorado. Conveniently located to Buffalo Wild Wings, easy to find, easy to get back on be road. Super 8 Amarillo is Super. Now I have to keep writing more and more words because Orbitz seems to think that more is better than saying it was a reasonably comfortable, clean, reasonably priced hotel.
Perfect for a 1 night traveling west. Right off the interstate but very quite.
This hotel room has some bed smell in it. Seems like something musty in the room. But the spot is pretty convenient. It's very nearby to I-40.
We needed a place to rest for one night from our long drive from SD so I booked this place since we only need to get a few hours of sleep. I walked in to check in and the place smells like cigarette. Although the guy at the front desk was nice, I regret booking this place. Walked down to our room and of course the whole place stinks and everything is old and nasty. The room I booked is a non-smoking room, it smells like cigarette and it had a nasty smell. The floor was nasty and chairs has stains all over. There is also complimentary breakfast but we didn't eat because this place smells and we just wanted to leave as soon as we can. We would not stay here again.
Experience was great till I woke up to go eat breakfast. I didnt feel like eating the biscuits and gravy. The line was forever long for the waffles. The Bananas had brown spots all over them hardly any cereal and no yogurt.
The hotel staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Check-in and -out was a breeze with 12 college students and 3 coaches!
The staff was very nice and welcomed us back. They had our rooms ready for us upon return.
Our room was terrible. Very musty smelling. Door looked like it had been kicked in at some point. Missing wood near lock. Stains on the carpet. Very outdated. Breakfast was stale by 8am and little selection.
