Calgary International Airport (YYC) is about 4 miles outside of central Calgary. The city has temperatures in the mid-70s on the Fahrenheit scale in June through August and in the 20s from December through February. The annual September and October Calgary International Film Festival is one of the city's preeminent events and includes films made around the world and screened at venues throughout the city.
