Ocean World is an adventure park perfect for families with children. It includes a marina and a wide variety of dolphins and other marine life. The Christ the Redeemer Statue is located at the highest point of the city. The monument includes a botanical garden and a replica of the famous statue in Rio de Janeiro.

For those who enjoy being outdoors, Puerto Plata offers a variety of outdoor activities. Play golf at one of the many golf courses in the area, or go shopping in the supermarket. Divers of all skill levels will enjoy diving along the shallow reefs and shipwrecks. You can also enjoy swimming, fishing and horseback riding along the beach.
