Wow our stay was amazing! The room was beautiful, we had the corner bottom room Next to the ocean! It was a dream waking up to it and listening to the waves. Staff is very friendly and they keep the property super clean, including rooms, beach, lobby area. Breakfast food that was included in our package was basket of bread, fruit and yogurt… everything else was extra. We traveled around tulum beach mostly, we did eat dinner here once and it was ok! I would definitely recommend this hotel and yes I would come back. The location is great too! The staff really makes this place feel special..

DELEK es un paraíso, la propiedad es hermosa y acogedora está en el mismo centro de tulum donde fácilmente puedes llegar caminado a todos las tiendas, restaurantes y establecimientos del área, el staff súper atento y complaciente, la comida riquisima especialmente el Desayuno, los cócteles una delicia!! La playa estaba más cristalina y deslumbrante que nunca y tuvimos la extraordinaria experiencia de ver las tortuguitas saliendo de sus huevos y caminando hacia el mar. Me encanto este hotel y espero volver pronto

Pros: We stayed in one of the beachfront bungalows and had our own private beach access, lounge chairs, even hammocks. THUMP THUMP THUMP My spouse is AFAB non-binary, post-chest surgery and was able to lie in the sun without a top -- something hard to do in a lot of beach spaces. The room looked nice and the bed was comfortable; toilet was separate from sinks and shower, which always helps with 2 people. THUMP THUMP THUMP Cons: The hotel next door plays really loud music from mid-afternoon until midnight or 2am, depending on the night. It's not Maya's fault, but the sound carries over the beach. We chose to go to Tulum because we heard it was quieter than Cancun, but this is unfortunately in the party district. THUMP THUMP THUMP I was able to tune out the music with ear plugs, but this meant that there was no falling asleep to the sound of the waves. My spouse had a harder time with it and had to take sleep aids because the THUMP THUMP THUMP was driving them insane. The lighting in the room is very ambient and relaxing at night, but there is almost no light by the bathroom mirror. THUMP THUMP THUMP If you want to put on makeup or shave, leave the room and find one of the random mirrors gracing the grounds around the hotel. At night, forget it. The restaurant turned us away at 5pm when they close at 6, told us to come back at 8. When we got food at 9 it was cold and underwhelming. If the THUMP THUMP THUMP in this review drives you nuts, look for a different hotel.

The property is beautiful. We especially loved the pool and the cabana beds that overlook the gulf. Rooms are great, gym does the job, we had an excellent treatment at the spa. Great staff in the spa. We also love our boy Elesio! He made every breakfast so fun. The food though was honestly really bad. Breakfast was tolerable. But the thought of eating another meal there our last night literally made me nauseous so we ordered Domino's. And it was amazing lol. Other bummer part was that the reception/management staff was standoffish at best, rude at worst. I'm sure they deal with a lot of characters, but we just felt hostility from them and it cast a shadow on the whole trip. We made the most of it, but I would never return to this resort.

This hotel is EVERYTHING. From the moment I got there, until the moment I left, I was well taken care of. This place is a hidden gem off the beaten path. Everything is absolutely 5 star. The beauty of this place is unparalleled. Each room is akin to a secret oasis, equipped with a private pool, yard, and a BEAUTIFULLY decorated room. Not to mention a beautiful outdoor shower. There are two yoga classes each morning (and people do go) and they are taught by amazing instructors. I felt heavenly after each class. There is also a Temezcal, ice bath, massages, and sound therapy to take advantage of. The front desk staff is amazing and is always in touch with you (via whatsapp) to see if you need anything at all. Always willing to help. The bar staff (my favorite bar tender "Saucy") is so accommodating. And the restaurant staff and food is to die for. The pork tacos, quesadillas, and spinach ravioli is out of this world. The only "complaints" (and it is not even a complaint) is that there needs to be a warning or sign as you walk over the slabs over your private pool into your room. It can get quite slippery and dangerous. I did fall one day. And I do wish each entrance into the yard of each room had a gate. Although your quarters are relatively private, I never felt like somebody could not just come in whenever they wanted to. Location-wise, I will say, if you want to be near the man shopping/beach strip, you will have to pay around 40$ each way with a taxi.
