Right when walking in the rooms it smelled musty and dirty. the beds where uncomfortable. I wanted to check out as soon as I checked in. The ceiling where the smoke detector was had black finger prints around it was not all the way into the ceiling. Room smelled like had some sort of smoking in the room just very gross.

The property, furniture, rooms, even the drapes are simply worn out and way overdue for replacement. The staff talks negatively and is less helpful if you book through a third party booking place as I did here with expedia. There is obvious disdain in the tone of their voice and they gave me a room that looked like the furniture came from the free pile in the alley and smelled as if a family had been living in the room and cooking for awhile - and this was an executive suite I reserved. after an unhelpful staff member said there is nothing they can do for me the manager came out and offered me a 900 sqft suite in replacement. It certainly smelled better and was a little less worn out but overall the chairs were broken, cushions done years ago, couch had large stains, window drapes were ripped and no AC in the bedroom so it was overly hot. Better than the first room they gave me no doubt, but obviously worn out and overdue for an upgrade. Book direct to this hotel, don't use a third party booking agent like expedia as they will not speak well with you at the front desk because of that.
