Property was absolutely beautiful. Definitely could have used some more mirrors in the room and maybe a little bit of carpet somewhere to knock down some of the noise either in the bedroom or in the hallway. Otherwise 4.8 out of 5 and will be back

This hotel is very new, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. It's perfrect for families, with a small kitchenette, a small gym downstairs, and laundry facilities - all very convenient.

Staying at LivAway Suites in Syracuse was so awful that I'm pretty sure I have PTSD just from driving past it. Do not go there. Our nightmare began with a broken check-in kiosk and a completely unhelpful clerk who informed us that all their systems are "disparate." This explained why my preregistration was useless and why we were given rooms on different floors. The worst part? We walked into our first room to find a complete stranger already in the bed. The "amenities" were a joke. The kitchen has a dishwasher but not a single dish. Everything—from the vending machines to the coffee—is a separate, confusing vendor. The rooms themselves were a special kind of sterile and gross. We found pee around the toilet and someone else's dirty laundry in the drawers. The beds were terrible, the walls were paper thin, and the lighting was depressing. This hotel is a masterclass in how not to run a business. You'll regret it

recently stayed at LivAway Suites and overall had a positive experience. However, there were two concerns. First, I noticed that some of the staff’s attitude felt a bit unwelcoming, which made me feel as if I was inconveniencing them whenever I had a question. Second, I was charged for the full 28-day stay even though I checked out a day early, and I was concerned about those extra charges.

This was my second stay at this property, the first was very good in a 4th floor room on the front side of the building. This stay however was much less than ideal. Upon check-in, the card key would not unlock the room, necessitating a trip to the front desk for reprogramming.. While the bed was very comfortable, being awakened by a very loud squeaking door on the next room at 5 AM was concerning. The folks in that room came and went probably 10, 12 times in the next 15 minutes. When I did get back to sleep I was awakened around 6:45 by the noise from the NY thruway maintenance facility behind the hotel, I was in a 4th floor room on the back side of the building this time. The back side rooms need more robust soundproofing. I also found the floor in this room rather dirty, I had to wash my feet between showering and putting on my shoes. Also, both visits, no local TV stations available, they were listed in the guide, but not tunable on the TV.
