Excellent service by staff
Aside from the creaky floors, rooms were clean and new. Breakfast was basic but at least free. Free open parking lot. Close, walking distance to the hospitals if you’re there for work or school.
We enjoyed this unique, historic property within walking distance of the University. The staff was friendly and helpful and we were able to use the patio. Breakfast was good too!
I stayed here many times before, its nice, convenient to SU's campus, and quiet.

Great location near the SU campus! Brenna at the front desk is a gem and our whole party thought she went the extra mile to make us feel at home! The hotel is cute and clean and has a nice history. We will be back!
Always a delight to stay at Skylar. Comfortable accommodations, professional/friendly/helpful staff, nice breakfast choices, well-maintained fitness room, and free parking. Its vision of being environmentally conscious is refreshing (but do wish that if towels aren't placed on floor that they are not exchanged daily; same for soaps and shampoo/conditioner --- let's be conscious of the waste and water usage).
Staff greeted us with a smile as soon as we arrived. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was satisfying. And we could walk to everything we wanted or needed to do. We had a good time walking to nearby events and restaurants. If I ever get back to Syracuse, this is where I will stay!
