The room was a bit old and tired. Most rooms might be OK, but ours was at the end of the building next to a very busy set of railroad tracks. VERY loud trains passing and blowing their horns several times each night. Absolutely no way to sleep well with that much noise. The breakfast was convenient and very good. I probably won't stay at this hotel next time I'm in Shreveport. Anyone who stays at this hotel needs to request a room at the far south end of the hotel near the Horseshoe Casino entrance, NOT on the side of the hotel next to the Louisiana Boardwalk. This will keep you away from the VERY loud railroad tracks.

We stayed here while my husband was playing in a golf tournament and chose this property because we thought having extra space would be easier with a baby and a puppy. While the stay itself was manageable, the staff was not very welcoming. Aside from one person, the front desk team seemed bothered whenever we asked for anything, almost as if we were interrupting them. When we first entered the room, it was dusty and noticeably dirty. The shower didn’t appear to have been cleaned, and the floors were so dirty that my daughter’s hands and knees turned almost black from crawling on the carpet and tile. We stayed for four nights, and although we didn’t expect full service, we did request a light cleaning on Saturday. That request was completely ignored. We ended up having to approach the front desk—again feeling like we were inconveniencing them—just to get toilet paper and a few extra towels. I’ve stayed at several Marriott Residence Inns, and this location really missed the mark in many ways. I eventually asked for fresh sheets and cleaning wipes so I could tidy the room and make the bed myself. After coming back from dinner one evening, we decided it was best to pack up early and drive the four hours home. It was disappointing to feel hesitant about asking for even the most basic things as a guest. The one positive was the breakfast—it was genuinely good

Suite that sleeps 6 was perfect for our family of five and 2 dogs. Very clean and updated! We enjoyed cooking dinner in the kitchen with near by stores. Breakfast was AMAZING!! So many choices and by far the best I have seen in my many travels. Friendly staff! I think residence inn is my new “go to” hotel choice! Highly recommend!!
